Fantastic quality
Image quality is fantastic! Easy to set up and use. Just be aware, you have to use the camera in manual mode, there is no auto focus, and unless you are at a very specific distance and zoom from subject, the image will be blurry. But when you find that sweet spot, you can create amazing images with these lens! I suppose that’s why they’re used for portrait (not action) photography.

It’s alright
Lens is okay. Takes decent photos but it doesn’t stay locked in my camera which is scary especially if you are moving a fast pace trying to adjust the focus.

NOT beginner friendly at all
Terrible. It is very old and you have to really figure it out to work with it. it is Manuel allll the way. it is 2025, we could step it up at a budget price. very sad with this purchase. NOT beginner friendly at all..

Soft images, not sharp.
I had high hopes, but I took it out this am and shot about 100 images, a variety of subjects and going through each aperture setting to see where the sharpest f-stop was. There was none. Maybe it’s good as a portrait lens to remove wrinkles etc, but it’s not for my style of photography. I boxed it back up and returned it.

Very loose and wobbly
Nice lens, took a minute to figure out why I couldn’t take photos with it, scared it might break quicker than expected.

Poor Quality
Camera Lens are very expensive, so I was so excited to find one for cheap. BUT this camera lens is sooo cheap its really upsetting because of how much I was looking forward to it, on top of it running late getting to me

Decent image quality, two drawbacks
So the image quality is good. I’m happy with the lens from a photograph quality perspective. Two issues I had though: 1. The lens came dirty. I had to clean it immediately and thoroughly. I’ve never had to clean a lens that much in my life, even ones I’ve owned long term. The glass was fine, so after cleaning, I’m happy with it 2. The lens cover is for the lens hood, which is dumb. I don’t like lens hoods most of the time, and don’t keep them on. So, I had to buy a lens cover for the lens that fits without the lens hood on. I should not have had to do this. It should come with a cover for the lens, not a cover for the lens hood.

Not newer Canon compatible
The lens zooms and focuses well, but does not have the pins to read to the camera, meaning the camera will not take any photos with the lens as is.

Not compatible
It’s not compatible with my R50 mirrorless. It is manuel and hard to get to use.

Tarde y no es compatible
Llegó demasiado tarde. los repartidores nunca llegaban a mi domicilio. Al final cuando llegó el paquete, vi que no era compatible con mi cámara Canon r100 sin espejo,

Good lens for the price
Takes good pictures and manual focus is not an issue for me.
