*Does* stow with the hammock
The FAQ on the Hennessy site says that "the hex fly [...] won't fit into a set of snakeskins along with the hammock".I assume this must be referring to the basic polyester fly, not this silnylon one. I've just received mine and tested it, and it fits easily into the snakeskins and outer bag of my Jungle Explorer XL, replacing the standard small fly.I haven't used the new fly in the woods yet, but set up over the hammock indoors it looks convincing. I've used the small one in wet weather and the hammock stayed perfectly dry, but there was nowhere to put my rucksack, keep some firewood dry, or change out of my wet clothes before going to bed. I expect the new larger fly to make life more comfortable for this kind of thing.

It is worth the upgrade from the standard tarps that come with the hammocks.
I love it. So much better than the ones that come with the hammocks. They are good, but just barely cover all corners. This one created a sheltered area around the hammock.
