I always figured Marinara was Marinara so I used Ragu or Prego. A friend turned me on to Carbone and I'll never go back. I opened the jar and took a whif, that was all it took. Carbone tastes like the best sauce you've gotten at an Italian restaurant. When I dip my mozzarella sticks in it they don't get "wet" like with the other brands. They get perfectly coated in flavor. This IS the secret sauce. This is that flavor you've been wanting. I don't usually write reviews but I'm not usually this impressed.

The sauce is very good!

Sauces taste good. Taking away a star because of pricing. Way cheaper in store. You can get 1 jar for $5-8. Here it’s a jar for $10. Other than that it’s pretty tasty for it to be jarred.

Hard to believe sauce of this caliber is available anywhere. Have used in lasagna, late night pasta dinners with sausage. Perfect no matter how you use it.
