Samsung Galaxy A55 5G (256GB/8GB) (for Tmobile Mint Tello & Global) Latin American GSM Unlocked SM-A556E/DS 6.6" 120Hz 50MP (Awesome Navy)

Phone is brand new in factory sealed box. Sleek and polished aluminum/glass frame feels indestructible with an IP67 rating guaranteed water resistant and dustproof. I used my old Sim card and signed into the T-mobile network here in California first time no problem. The phone works perfectly on the T-mobile network. Phone scrolls and operates effortlessly. It clearly has a great processor with plenty of ram. I only have 2 complaints. #1) When I first set up the phone my normal display settings were too bright and bothered my eyes. I had to use the Eye Comfort Shield to tolerate the display. I later figured out how to set the phone on display settings I am satisfied with. I have noticed slight display issues once or twice since. #2) The phone has occasional glitches with the finger print sensor. It takes patience to figure out how to handle the finger print sensor not responding. The problem is intermittent and the sensor works as it should 95% of the time. The facial recognition feature, on the other hand, is fantastic! It unlocks the screen 80% of the time. In set-up, the facial recognition feature takes 2 pictures of your face - so it's nice to be right up on the screen on one of them. I sometimes use impressions of the same finger two different times to perfectly capture one fingerprint. You have to learn how to keep going into finger print set-up to test and keep your fingerprints set up. One hassle is that whenever you renew your fingerprint you have to login manually into each app again and again to keep them current. For the most part, the facial recognition and the finger print sensor fly right through. The speakers are sterio and the sound is excellent. The camera is fantastic. It clearly focuses on objects one inch away. The camera instantly recognizes and captures the 1/4 inch teeny-tiny QR code, (and bar codes), on the side of the box or on the inside of the box. It takes a very sensitive camera to capture such small QR codes so quickly. With the exception of the occasional fingerprint sensor glitch this is the best phone I've ever owned!

So Samsung decided to not offer the A55 in the US. So I came here to pick one up. Despite it technically being the Latin American version, it seems to be working with my US T-mobile sim card. I have not noticed any real inconveniences for the phone not being a US version. Everything is working great so far. I will update my review if I run into any problems with my unit.

I got this phone overnight during a work trip because I was so frustrated with my Samsung A16. Even though it is new, it lags like crazy, freezes, and is a poor performer. The Samsung A55 is a great phone. It is very snappy, and I have yet to find a situation in which I wasn't satisfied with its performance.

El teléfono llegó bien. Se sabe que es bueno. Aún no fue usado ya que es para regalo. Falta del cargador que promete en la publicación. No tengo idea de si alguien se hace cargo de ello. Gracias.

Tenia el m53 y me gustaba su estetica mas delgado. En este modelo no se por que bajo la calidad de la camara de 65m a 50m muy mal por eso. De ahi en fuera buen teléfono. Cumple con las funciones para lo que lo necesito.
