Has excellent adhesives and is easy to cut and install. Good tip for installation would be to ensure clean surface before application. Once applied you can use a heat gun/hair dryer to smooth out and help the trim form to the surface. Best to avoid any moisture or cleaning of the area after application to let the adhesive fully stick.

The stair nosing for my staircase looks great. The only problem is that the front of the nosing does not stick as well as I expected. I had to use the heat gun several times before they cemented well and didn't come back off in the front. I still have a couple that keep coming back off. I wish the manufacturer could find a solution because they are nice and easy to apply. If I had to I would still probably buy them again.

Aside from the red backing being difficult to remove, it stayed nicely and looked great the next day even after a moderate rain shower.

I have three steps that lead into the house from the garage which I recently painted with textured floor paint to make them slip proof. However, I found the front edge of these treads to be a potential slip hazzard and found this product to place there.This stair nosing was easy to cut and the adhesive is super strong. Keep in mind when applying that it is a bit unforgiving once it touches it's mating surface so make sure you get it lined up perfectly before placing it permanently. I found it best to only expose a small part at one end of the product and then pull the protective covering off as you carefully place the edging to your stair tread. Take your time and make sure everything is perfectly lined up.Great product that should hopefully last for many years. My installation has been in place for a few months and shows no signs of lifting or wear. I recommend this product and give it a 5-star rating.

This gray edge protector works well. You do need to clean both sides of the edge that you're going to adhere it to. It has a good rubber grippy feel to it. One more thing you need to do before installing it is to bend it over and leave a weight on it overnight so the bend wants to be there. It's shipped rolled up, so it's flat and doesn't want to bend the 90° over the edge of the step if you don't fold it at the bend and get it accustomed to being bent. Being gray, it is more noticeable than some that are black.

I’m replacing the old Gold aluminum stair protectors on my place that I can’t stand. This is going to be a big improvement going up and down the stairs and they look great too. The quality is excellent, super thick Adhesive on the back is incredibly sticky, it’s so sticky you must be careful when putting it on. I highly recommend these If you need them like I did. Five stars all the way.
