easy to use and its small size makes me very happy with this voice recorder, the sound quality produced is also very very clear.

The main purpose of us getting this Yitone Tiny Magnetic Digital Voice Recorder is to help the kids with school. We have kids in middle school and high school and both of them find themselves at times having a lot of notes to take down. The amount of information can be overwhelming. My oldest would comment “Maybe I didn’t take the best notes “ (in class) and my youngest has issues with hand writing. It’s often just too much information to take down at one time and would miss chunks of assignments or other important information. So we tried this. It’s super tiny and discrete. It’s magnetic too so it sticks to desks and lamps or whatever. There’s also 2 different sized holding straps so they make it pretty secure. The kids found it pretty easy to go thru the commands and figure it out: record, switch tracks, you can download recordings directly to your computer/laptop which is simple for them or just listen to it on the included headphones (2) which also work very well and are comfortable. The recordings sound clear. If you get further away than the recommended 6 feet it can be more muffled. It says there’s 64GB of storage on it. They haven’t had any issues with space. Holds/ plays music too so that’s a bonus. Charge lasts for a long time and it charges in like 2 hours (charger included). The Kids obviously have had fun playing with it too cuz it’s like spy gear . Useful little thing.

I don't usually write negative reviews unless I'm REALLY disappointed.This digital recorder MIGHT be okay for recording lectures or someone speaking loudly. But for casual speaking or recording general noise in a room, it SUCKS. I've tried the VOR at 5 and 7, tried the gain at various levels...nothing works. If I pick up the device and speak into it at my spouse would say us me YELLING, it records. But when I set this POS down next to my TV, about 3 feet away, it won't record squat until "I" say something loudly, then it will pick up what I'm saying as well as the TV in the background. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a voice-activated recorder...no matter what setting I try, it doesn't work.I'm giving it one star as it might serve a student's purposes for recording lectures, but for casual recording, no go.

This is a good handy recorder that can be used for recording meetings or lectures. The 64 GB memory is good enough to store several days of recordings.
