Unfortunately - not suitable for my phone
I ordered this gadget in the hope that it would work on my elderly father's landline but was aware from reviews that it may not be suitable all phones. The product is very neat and easy to set up. It was well packaged and arrived on time. There was a label on the box stating that it may not be suitable for all phones and if it were not to work, then a full refund would be issued. I am writing this review to prompt anyone who is considering purchasing this gadget, to do so as there is no risk of losing anything. If it works then it will be amazing and if it does not, then you can request a full refund with no issue. So go on... give it a go!

Be aware that the AA batteries are not included
I was glad to have the opportunity to try this item on my mother's phone. Unfortunately it did not work on her phone so I have returned the amplifier for a refund. It was worth trying.The information on the website and indeed printed on the outside of the box said that the two AA batteries needed are included, but this was not the case. This was disappointing as I did not open the box until we arrived at my mother's house and then could not try it out and had to wait until the next time we visited having purchased the AA batteries.

Does the trick
An elderly relative was struggling to hold a conversation on the landline.I set this device up in about 2 minutes and it gives a big boost to the volume in the earpiece.I hit a slight snag because the phone is wall-mounted and the supplied lead to connect phone to amplifier is only about 20cm long. I used “tac” to stick the amplifier on the wall, which isn’t elegant, but it’s better than letting the amplifier dangle. The inclusion of an additional, longer lead would have been a great help.

Had to return due to it not being compatible with my corded phone
Nice looking device. Easy to fit. Just what was needed for my 100 year old Mum, but unfortunately not compatible with her corded phone. To be fair there is a warning on the packaging that the device might not work on all phones and that the supplier is happy to refund if this is the case. Therefore I am returning the device with gratitude.
