Fires at cone 10. Does not melt.I have not tested this holding heavier objects.

I bought his to use with a ceramics project. It did hold up nicely in the kiln.

Different gauges of Nichrome wire, when twisted tightly together make excellent parasitic choke assemblies for high power vacuum tube amplifier anode connection circuits, but it's important to use the correct liquid flux and silver solder to get the alloys to bond wetly.
