Absolutely love this bottle but even sitting upright it can have water dribbling down the side. On its side it leaks a lot and if you squeeze the bottle even just a little bit it pours water. Shame about this as I would order more of them if they didn’t leak. Did not have an option to contact seller so unfortunately having to write this in a review.

Bought this as I've been impressed by Sistema products in the past but they've missed the mark on this one. It leaks when filling it up and screwing the cap on, it leaks when in my bag upright and it leaks when gentle pressure is applied to the sides (see video). It even leaks when stood upright and untouched, rendering it less effective than a standard glass in this instance. Effectively, the "straw pinching mechanism" in the cap doesn't work to seal the straw so when the slightest bit of force is applied e.g. screwing the cap on, squeezing the bottle or even just a cold drink warming up to ambient temperature, and the air in the bottle expanding, the liquids got no where to go except out the straw.. I don't know how this got past any kind of quality testing..

Nice bottle...but a shame it's not leakproof

We have a smaller one of these which works perfectly and has never leaked. Decided to get a larger one. I noticed that the lid didn't stay shut unless I manually pushed the button (which should only be used to open the bottle and should then spring back). I thought maybe the large one was a different design and thought nothing of it. However when I got to work I realised that half the water I'd put in it was now in a puddle in the bottom of my bag. I've had bottles leak before, but never quite so spectacularly!

Received on Fri, went to start using it on Monday noticed it was soft plastic down the end like it was a single use plastic bottle. There was a large crack and leaking water, have to send it back at my cost and it will cost me more than the bottle is worth.

Initially thought this bottle was great- but leaks every time you fill it. Thought it was just when the bottle was tilted forward (and the liquid was coming out the straw), however it appears to be leaking when just standing upright also. Currently having to put the bottle in a plastic bag when I take it to work, until I get a new one. Waste of money - don't waste yours or your time with this one

I bought this bottle due to it supposedly being leak proof. This is a false claim however. It seems that when closed the straw isn't pinched tight enough and capillary action draws liquid up and out of the straw. It has left a puddle in my cup holder every day this week. Return and refund pending. I'll go back to non branded non leaking bottles.

My grandson has had this 2 days and as you can see by the video it has leaked all in his bag..soaking his books

Je suis très contente de la gourde, elle est très pratique. La partie un peu plus fine en haut permet une prise en main facilitée. J'ai acheté cette gourde pour le vélo. En effet, les gourdes classiques pour le vélo nécessitent de renverser la gourde en l'air pour pouvoir boire. Cela impose donc de relever la tête en arrière jusqu'à se casser le cou, pour boire. Grâce à cette gourde, plus besoin de se contorsionner le cou à vélo pour boire! C'est impeccable !!! Petit point sur les dimensions de la gourde: elle fait 7,5cm de diamètre à la base et 8cm de diamètre au plus large. Les supports de gourde à vélo ne permettent pas tous d'aussi gros diamètre. (D'habitude, le diamètre des gourdes vélo est de 7cm)
