Great addition to my kitchen!
This manual food chopper is a handy addition to my kitchen. It’s attractive, doesn’t take up a lot of space, doesn’t use electricity, and is easy to use with efficient results. It’s perfect for prepping small amounts of food, when you don’t want to drag out the food processor. It took about 10 quick plunges to chop tomatoes and onions. It’s so quick and easy to use so even if I had a lot more food, I wouldn’t mind doing multiple batches, especially since clean-up is so fast and easy. The top pumping part feels strong and sturdy. The bottom part that holds the blade and food is nicely finished acrylic (or similar) but possibly to crack if dropped, so handle with care. I like the pale minty green color contrasted with darker green. It comes nicely boxed so it’s something interesting to give as a hostess gift.

Decent chopper.
Works fine. Easy to use and to clean. It does seem a little flimsy so I'm not sure how long it will last. The safety lock is a little wonky- I'm not sure if it is all that valuable.I tried it with lettuce, celery, and ice cubes with good results. I haven't used it with nuts yet, but will revise my review if necessary.

Quick, easy, thorough
When I first got this chopper, I just had to wash it and try it out right away, not expecting much. But, I was very surprised how easily and thoroughly it worked! I look forward to using it on boneless meat to make my own ground beef mixtures for burgers and meatloaf. I’m glad the video in the Amazon listing showed running the top piece under running water, as I didn’t know if the bottom of it was waterproof. This chopper will save me so much time vs. dragging out my heavy plug-in food processor.

Limited usefulness
When I got this out of the box, I was pretty skeptical. Other than the blades, it appears to all be made of plastic. I'm not sure about the longevity of this device, but I really don't expect it to hold up to long-term use.The longer, and smaller, items are processed, the more consistent the chop becomes. That was true of everything I tested. This isn't actually surprising, but it does mean that it has limited usefulness for me.I feel like it did its best work on nuts. I don't mind the inconsistency in the chop when I want larger pieces, and the more I worked with it, the more regular the pieces became. Additionally because of how you have to place items in the container and line up the blades with the top piece, nuts are the easiest thing to process in this.It wont do a large batch of anything, but it does a pretty good job of chopping up 1/4 onion. You have to cut the item down into pretty small pieces to get it into the container. Some part of me feels like if I have to break things down into two-inch pieces, I may as well just go ahead and finish chopping them.I was less impressed with the softer vegetables like olives, and tomatoes. Unless you want to break them down quite small, say for salsa, the consistency just isn't there. It is easy enough to clean. That said, I'm not sure I would do meat in it (as photographed in the listing). I just don't trust what I can't get to in the top. There is a lock that holds the plunger in the down position. I think the idea is to save space for storage, but it really isn't that much more compact, so, for me, that is a wash.As I said, I think there is some limited use here, and I will use it occasionally. I wouldn't tell someone not to purchase it, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to suggest it either.

It works
It isn't set up how I expected, I was not familiar with this type. But it works. The results are like that of the vertical SlapChop, and does a better job of chopping than those blending bullets. And it cleans up really quick and easy. Good quality, feels solid. Two thumbs up!

Great Manual food Chopper
This will make short work of your onions or garlic. It comes retail packaged ready to do some kitchen work. The size of the chopper is medium. It covers less area than a large 3 wick candle. The original, was a little bigger than this. But this is powerful for its size, and for all practical purposes it is highly functional. It is easy to clean and use. It locks as well into place. overall I am pleased with this design with asian writing on the outside of the chopper.

So easy to use, works great!
This chopper is really easy to use. It's mechanical, not electronic, so you don't have to worry about charging it or plugging it in. You just push the top down and it rotates the blades. SUPER easy to use and you can lock the top down so it makes it a little smaller for storing. Perfect for easy chopping!
