Overpriced Junk is Still Overpriced Junk, No Matter How Much Vitamix Is Overcharging
TL;DR: don't buy this productThere's a lot to not like about this pitcher, so I'll just hit the highlights:- Bad build quality. Everything looks cheap, especially the top, which I wouldn't expect to withstand any level of kitchen abuse or maybe even a dishwasher long term. It even showed up with a crack in the base (see pictures).- On a quick test, there were plastic shavings in the pitcher from it shearing off plastic (see picture).- The blade looks the cheapest, bluntest one I've ever seen- Packaging is a beat up brown paper box with no labels or paddingI don't care if Vitamix is charging crazy prices, at least their products are worth using. This is actually a bigger rip-off than the Vitamix ones because it's unusable. Price at time of writing is $80, which is an outright shakedown for how cheap this product is.
