Unsweetened Organic Green Superfood Powder. Super Greens

I love green powders because they are a great way to get the healthy good stuff your body needs when you don't have time for anything else. Especially when I am working 12 hour days and I don't always have time to sit down and eat clean meals, this stuff is my go to. I have tried maybe 5 other brands of green juice powder but this one will always be my favorite. It has superfoods, vegetables and fruit but not just your average broccoli and strawberries. It has ingredients like turmeric, artichoke, green tea, and blueberries which I don't always consume, so it fills in the gaps where I need it. There is not a single filler or anything junky in here to make it taste better or sweeten it, which I love because I know its fueling my body well. The only thing I will say....the taste and texture. YES it is a green superfood blend so its going to taste exactly how it sounds. Earthy with a slightly gritty texture. I don't mind this at all because I know how healthy it is for me so I can get over the taste. It does NOT mix well in water with a spoon. There are small pieces that don't blend left in the glass, but again, I don't mind since it is so healthy and clean. I suggest mixing a scoop with juice or smoothie to balance out the intense wheatgrass flavor. Something that I usually do is add a tsp of raw honey and shake it up before I consume it. It makes the texture a bit softer and the aftertaste has a sweet element to it WORTH EVERY CENT!

This is my new go-to smoothie additive. I add a scoop of this to my green smoothies every day. It is really packed with nutrients! Blends flawlessly. I love that there is no sweetness - why does everything have to have either sugar or a substitute? I've felt better since using this - more energized. I'd recommend this.

I'm pleasantly surprised. I read all the reviews, and most ppl did not like the sweetened version... so I ordered the unsweetened. When I opened it, it smelled a lot like matcha! No surprise... 2nd thing i noticed when mixing with a very small amount of ice cold water... cold water is usually the WORST for powders... but! IT DID NOT CLUMP AT ALL and it was NOT GRITTY AT ALL. For the price of AG1... I was expecting the texture to be the difference of this one. But no! I have never tried AG1, but I can say this has to be the better buy for the price... literally less than half the cost. This is my first day consuming it, and if I have any noticeable changes I will update this review to let you know if it helps me be more regular and have more energy... But for now all I can say is it's easy to mix, get down, and hide inside just about any beverage. After I tried it straight just to taste test it, I mixed it with a bit of kombucha and down the hatch! I've been struggling to get enough veggies, and since I'm running every day now (first time in my life, lifting weights and running on a machine at 42) for the past year... and with all the stress I'm putting my muscles thru, I'm also struggling to get enough protein. So it's really difficult to afford both, and not get sick of what I'm eating, which generally makes me waste food and eat out. My hope is this drink will allow me to focus my time and money on getting enough protein... and stop wasting food. And money!

I got the unsweetened kind, cause I like stevia, but only a limited amount. So far mixing in juice, it doesn't have a strong flavor. Goes down pretty easy. Will be trying with other juices. A little hard to mix, have to keep stirring, but it dissolves in after a few minutes. Leaves a little sediment on the bottom, but is easy to swirl into last swallow of juice.

I tried a few cans of the Original which includes some Stevia and I found myself looking forward to it every day. I drink it with breakfast (it includes green tea so there's some amount of caffeine, it just doesn't say how much)... and feel like I making a really healthy decision with all of the great ingredients. I most recently tried the Unsweetend and I'm disappointed... still the same ingredients but it's so bland. I'm going to have to mix the Original and the Unsweetend to get through the can. Will continue to buy this product and would highly recommend the Original.

I was so excited to find an organic, unsweetened greens powder without an insanely long list of ingredients. A lot of "unsweetened" superfoods and greens powders often still contain Stevia. This does not. Has a pleasant grassy taste with a hint of cinnamon. Sadly, my eyes were swollen every day after taking this - which is my common reaction to preservatives like citric acid. While this touts no artificial ingredients, something in here is giving me a reaction. Such a bummer. Adios $40 and what could've been a great life supplement.

Probably most greens powders are an acquired taste, but this one is really easy to like, with absolutely no cloying stevia or other non-nutritive sweetener like most. It has only a mild natural grassy sweetness, which I appreciate. What can I say, it makes me feel good? I eat well overall, but sometimes struggle to eat enough dark leafy greens: this feels like it hits a spot. I packed this on a 1300-mi PCT hike to mix with my water and electrolytes to compensate for the lack of fresh greens on trail past foraged parsley, mint and ramps in the Sierra. I continued the habit after finishing the hike. It's my midday treat blended into hot raw milk, sometimes with a shot of decaf. Yep decaf: I like that this doesn't feel stimmy the way some greens powders do!
