Cedar Summit Greystone Cottage Playhouse

Now that this playhouse is built, I LOVE it and I have a very happy child! However, when it was finally delivered, i was pretty disappointed. The base panels of the house are put together with plastic hinges and during transit (I’m assuming) they became broken and in some spots the screws ripped out of the wood causing the wood to split. I did contact the company and I could have gotten a replacement but instead of waiting another 2 weeks for new panels to be delivered, I went and purchased metal hinges and wood glue. Now that the damages are repaired and the house is built, it is very sturdy. This house did take about 5 hours to put together with 3 people, including the time it took to replace the hinges.

Good playhouse. Very sturdy. Worth the money. Lots of little extras that my child is sure to love. My only complaint is delivery. The delivery man was kind enough to roll it into my garage after making sure I knew he didn’t have to. He told me that it was just curbside drop off. The invoice also says curbside drop off and that customer is aware. I was 100% not aware they would drop this giant package that I could not move on the curb. That was a straight lie. In no way did they make me aware they would leave this $400 investment by the road like trash. If he hadn’t rolled it into my garage for me it would have sat on the curb all night long like trash while my husband was at work. I find that ridiculous and highly unprofessional. Nothing else I order from Amazon gets dropped at the curb so for that reason I don’t know that I would recommend this product. You could easily find yourself in a problematic situation.

Seller’s product arrived with broken (plastic and shoddy) hinges as well as snapped and missing wood on the foundation. When i emailed them this was a christmas gift for my daughter, they replied “you received it weeks ago, you should have dealt with it then”. Id rather use their junk product as kindling than ever recommend someone purchase this. It’s completely destroyed & not available for XMas.

Bought for granddaughter. She loves it. Took a while to put together.

This is so adorable and my granddaughter loves it.

The box was misleading because it said easy installation. It has a TON of parts. It takes 5-6 hours to put together and you need a drill for sure to make it faster. Besides the misleading "easy install" it is a solid unit and handles the weather nicely. It handed the Arizona Summer and intense monsoon season.
