Laundry mode is a little louder as it runs on full power for 6hrs.The controls are simple and this Arete Two had smart controls via the app. The build feels premium and the HEPA filter means it doubles as an air purifier, not just a dehumidifier pretending to be one.Portability, a little on the heavier side (around 16kg) but it does have a carry handle. The tank hold over 4L of water so empty this before moving. It is possible to have this continuously drain but you need to buy the hose and pump separately.Overall it’s a fantastic machine and a must have. It’s pricey but worth every penny.

Recently bought a 200 year old cottage in the north of England, winter has pretty much kicked in, and along with it, huge humidity and damp issues in one side of the building, it’s hard to fix all the underlying issues with all the rain that keeps coming so have bought one of theseI researched well and this brand seems to come out on top, so many good reviews, so have bought one myself and have been running it now for two weeksIt’s awesome and does what it says on the tin, I haven’t had to clean any black mould away now for two weeks, which makes me feel so much happier about our home as it was getting me down a little bit, the windows no longer have condensation all over them and I’m emptying 4.8 litres of water every 24 hours that this thing has sucked up, the house heats quicker now that the humidity has come down, one room was getting to 70% humidity before purchase and now sits happy at 50%, it’s super easy to use and has a child lock on the controls which is greatFor me this was a fantastic quality of life purchase that was worth every penny, I have no regrets getting the larger one (25L) as it doesn’t have to work so hard, it’s a good brand as evidenced by all the reviews across the whole internet and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This dehumidifier works as you would expect from Meaco. It is very quiet and does a good job extracting humidity. You can control all the functions using the touch panel.However, while it’s only £20 more expensive, I don’t think it’s worth getting the WiFi version. Besides being able to switch modes (which you can do easily directly on the device), it can tell you when it’s offline and there is a timer, which is so basic that it doesn’t really offer a benefit. You can also use the timer directly on the device.It’s really so pointless that I don’t know why they bothered even adding WiFi. It would have been useful if you could set a schedule for night mode or l tell you when the water level is full. But don’t just take my word for it, look at the reviews for the Meaco app on the App Store.

This is a great bit of kit, ideal for drying laundry indoors over winter. A full load on a clothes horse is bone dry overnight. It has also helped massively with the condensation problem, and extracts a LOT of water in a short period of time. It is not 'whisper quiet' so I wouldn't use it in my bedroom overnight, but it doesn't intrude more than a fan or something similar in a room with background noise like a TV or radio during the day. The app is quite handy, allowing you to check humidity levels and turn it on and off remotely via WiFi, and sending you an alert if it needs emptying.Not the cheapest on the market, but seems solid and well made, is energy efficient and works very well.

Seems to be well built and working as intended, well packaged and the instructions are simple and understandable.The top handle to move the unit around seems like it could potentially be a point of failure.Noise levels are a fair bit bit above that from a standard table-top, half-size fridge when the compressor is running for a point of reference. The noise level is not outrageous, but it's more than I was expecting after reading online reviews about how this model is market-leading in this area. I think some people would struggle to sleep whilst it's working on the regular smart mode. Not a dealbreaker, but expectations should to be set realistically for anyone considering purchasing for bedroom use.The main reason for losing stars on this review however is the mobile app. It's really underwhelming. Especially considering the product's price on the market compared to its competitors. Setting a timer via the app is really clunky. I can't get rid of the warranty registration reminder on the app homescreen even though I have already registered. There's a menu item literally labelled "awaiting translation". I can't see any historical data in regards to humidity levels, there's no before/after comparisons or level readings at a certain time of day or anything like that. I just find the mobile app experience really underwhelming considering the product's price is almost twice that of some of its competitors such as ProBreeze.Overall I'm content with the purchase, but maybe my expectations were too high considering the price. If the app gets updated and improved in the future I'll increase my review score, but as it stands it's the main detractor.

Fantastic. We have had a number of dehumidifiers over the years that either have broke, poorly designed or are fire risks. This is incredibly well engineered and worth the price. You get what you pay for.

Ho acquistato questo deumidificatore per risolvere problemi di umidità e muffa in casa e, dopo alcune settimane di utilizzo, posso dire che ha superato le aspettative.La prima cosa che colpisce è l’efficacia: già dopo pochi giorni l’aria risulta più asciutta e non si sente più lo sgradevole odore di muffa che si avvertiva appena si entrava in casa. Il funzionamento è abbastanza silenzioso, soprattutto in modalità notte, quindi si può usare anche in camera da letto senza particolari fastidi. L unica piccola nota negativa è lo svuotamento del serbatoio che risulta poco pratica.
