Alchemy Bacchanal Rose Ring

Alchemy of England is probably my favourite jewellry seller anywhere, so I always look forward to their new pieces and selection. The Bacchanal Rose collection does not disappoint. The ring looks antique, is heavy (but not too much so), and is a perfect match for my earrings from the same collection. This is quality craftsmanship unrivalled from even top jewellers. A ring for the ages!

It's lovely as costume jewellery but don't expect a decent lifespan. It tarnished within 10 days. I bought polish but I cannot revive the original shine. Customer service was kind and responsive, but the manufacturer solution is to replace the item with similarly dulling metal. Lesson learned: I will just buy silver instead of pewter.
