Perfect as the original, I didn't remember how creamy the coffee is when the filter is new.

Needed a replacement for my espresso machine and this was the exact same item and the price was good

I didn't notice when I received this filter basket that the drain hole at the bottom is off set from center, and therefore the coffee dispenses poorly. Prior to discovering the problem, I did major clean of my espresso machine--didn't help. I changed grind--didn't help. Of course I didn't notice the problem before the return window closed, but, hey, I have a very clean machine and have another filter basket ordered! Seller beware! I will pay closer attention to the new one; that hole must be dead center or it's being returned promptly. UPDATE: I purchased and received new filter basket. It's perfect! I'm enjoying my daily shot of delicious espresso as I write this update. CAPFEI contacted me after seeing my original review and provided a refund for the original filter basket after the return window had closed. I really appreciate a company who backs their product, and has customer service who pays attention to their customers. Thank you, CAPFEI! You are a gem!

This 58mm pressurized basket has a single hole in the center of bottom like most pressurized baskets. I used a 58mm dual cup portafilter for my first cup with this. Do Not Do That! I had to clean off the walls and other items on the counter near the espresso machine because this basket sprays a hard stream which hit the dual cup part of the portafiler and when straight side-wise. The next cup, I used a bottomless portafilter. It sprayed straight down and the cup was full of bubbles. These first two cups were with Cafe Bustelo pre-ground espresso coffee beans. The 3rd cup was grinding beans to a finer grind than the pre-ground beans, the one that I used with a bottomless basket. The espresso came out a little too slow. The machine I was using does not go less than 8 bar. I expect that one can get a reasonably good cup of espresso by finding the correct grind size, but my hope for using the pressurized basket was to be able to skip some steps to make a cappuccino using pre-ground coffee.
