Revell 05696 British Legends - Gift Set, Multi Colour, 1:72 Scale

I bought this model to make with my son after he received a tamiya tank for Xmas. He loved making it and wanted a lancaster so I was chuffed to find a set of three with paints and glue. Perfect I thought.You would assume that a kit that comes with 6 paints will have the colours you need to paint it. No, not even close. It recommend you buy about another 8 colours.Also the quality of the mouldings is really poor with each bit having lots of exess to trim off. The plastic is cheap and very shiny making it harder to take the paint. Poor detail to the pieces as well.If you want a crap kit for a child to practice on this may be for you but if you want good quality I have always been impressed with tamiya models.

The quality sucks. There is so much flash on the hurricane some of the parts are unidentifiable and almost unusable. I usually buy Airfix or Bandai but this was a present. Well I've learnt my lesson now and i wont be buying any more Revell products.

A very nice collection of models here. The quality varies a bit with the Spit and the Hurricane having quite a lot of flash to clean up and some misformed parts. The Lancaster however was a joy to build.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my dad, he loves models and was delighted at this one! Quality is good and comes with paint & glue, overall an excellent gift.

Great product. You do need to buy lots of extra colours but they are easy to buy on Amazon. Quick delivery.
