This is the best affordable enclosure! Very easy to assemble, sturdy and well made. It is the perfect size, here is a picture of a 3x3x6in in comparison to this 4x4x8, the door is secured by a hook instead of magnets which I really like, safe for jumping spiders and other bugs. (If you want to make this enclosure bioactive I recommend sealing the bottom with silicone before using, that’s what I did).

I bought this size for my male Regal Jumping Spider. It's more fitting his size and he has no problem locating prey in it. I know there is much discussion on the film on the acrylic sheets being difficult to remove but I had no problem with taking an Xacto blade to prick one corner and lift. Didn't scratch it at all as long as you stick to the corner. Almost impossible using your nails unless you like getting frustrated. This was an attractive and affordable option for me. If you don't mind the larger front opening this is a great enclosure. Large Jumpers tend to be mellow (at least mine are) so no worries of it making a mad dash for the door when opened.

This worked great for our jumping spider! The only downside was that one corner of a panel arrived chipped, but it didn’t affect usability. When it arrived, the protective film on both sides of the panels was a bit difficult to remove, but the rest of the assembly was simple and straightforward. The panels have stayed clear, and the enclosure is very easy to keep clean.

This is a fantastic enclosure, especially for the price. I got the size small. It was super simple to put together. The thick bands are sturdy and secure the pieces together well. The ventilation is also excellent. The absolute only slight issue is it seems the lock mechanism is flimsy, BUT the door still does NOT open unless lock is turned & door is pulled. So if you aren’t bumping the enclosure around making it move, this will not be an issue. I recommend using the metal tweezers it comes with to make a hole in the plastic film to help each piece of film come off (It does not scratch the pieces). Overall highly recommend.

i actually have 2 of these! the first one i got a few weeks ago and ABSOLUTELY LOVE it for my jumping spood! the 2nd lne i got (the colorful one) is the one i received today and it is so easy to put together (but you do have to use a hair dryer to get the plastic film off the pieces) but other than that this terrarium is AMAZING for small arachnids and it is super cheap for great quality like this. i have made sure to test the durability because i have cats and i dont want them to knock it down and have it break or crap but even falling from a high space is does not crack or break at all! this is length/width/height for small animals and for my jumping spood he uses all of the space and absolutely loves it, he doesn't seem stressed or anything which is AMAZING! The acrylic is very easy to see through so i can watch my spoods tank temp and so i can check on how he is/ his health! overall this is AMAZING.

I’ve bought this enclosure twice now, once for my jumping spider annd once for my arboreal tarantula and I’ve been very happy with them. This enclosure is well made and durable, yet the acrylic is thin enough for use of magnet accessories without issue. The pieces fit together well and the final enclosure feels very steady. I also felt the interior and exterior cut lines of each piece and there were no sharp or jagged edges. I do think that the air vents are probably large enough that fruit flies could escape, but I have not tested this. The rubber bands address any potential small escape areas and the end result is a very nice looking, safe enclosure. Disclaimer: an enclosure this size is not the appropriate choice for a jumping spider sling.

Decent product. Fairly easy to assemble. However, the breathing holes are quite large. Some small species of jumping spider can easily fit through the holes.

Easy to assemble, and perfect for my full grown jumping spider! It’s pretty big, I think a smaller arboreal tarantula would fit too. The magnets in the door are strong and keep the door shut well.

This tank is not clear, and I can't use it for my plants. it doesn't look like the picture, and the material is not transparent
