Love it!
Thick material, sturdy, easy to use and makes ice just as pictured. Bonus is the added detail of a built in funnel that makes filling them very simple.

Not the best
Find one with a hard bottom case and silicone top - otherwise you may end up with uneven ice cubes.

They're ice trays...
These ice molds are really great. The pieces lock together pretty well without leaking. The silicon peels away easily once frozen to pop out the cubes. There is a "funnel" built into each mold so that you're not trying to fill a tiny hole, and there is an air hold in each one so that you can fill it easily without it bubbling out near the top.Great for drinks that you don't want too watered down, as the cubes melt much slower than traditional smaller ice cubes.

Creative and Versatile: glacio Etched Ice Mold Duo Review
I've found a surprisingly versatile use for the glacio Etched Ice Mold Duo, originally intended for ice cubes but repurposed as a soap mold! The silicone trays are well-made and durable. They handle both hot and cold temperatures exceptionally well, which is perfect for making soap molds. The trays are sturdy enough to retain their shape even after multiple uses. You can tell that the designer spent a lot of time ensuring that the shapes were just right. The etched patterns on both the tetra ice cube and radial ice ball trays create distinctive soap shapes. The tetra mold produces beautifully detailed soap bars, while the radial mold makes elegant round soaps. The tetra was admittedly the easier of the two, but they both turned out beautifully. Just like with ice cubes, the soap bars pop out quite easily from the flexible molds. There's no need to worry about them sticking or breaking during demolding. I was extremely nervous trying to unmold the circular mold, like I would snap it in half - but no worries, because every single one of them remained intact. I did have to trim off some excess on both molds so that they "seam" wasn't as obvious, but they would have been fine if I left them as is too.Cleaning these was a breeze. The non-stick silicone surface ensures that any soap residue washes off easily, making them ready for reuse without any hassle. None of the colorant, essential oil, or added sparkles clung to the mold...even with all of the crevices in the design!Overall, I'm thrilled with how well the glacio Etched Ice Mold Duo performs as a soap mold. It combines practicality with aesthetic appeal, allowing me to create unique soap designs effortlessly. While originally intended for making ice cubes, these trays have proven their versatility. They're equally effective for crafting handmade soaps, giving me more bang for my buck. If you're looking for a creative way to use these trays beyond making ice cubes, I highly recommend giving them a try for soap making—you won't be disappointed!

Silicone ice cube trays, with all the plusses and minuses of that type of maker.
I cannot pass on oddly shaped ice cube makers. It is a sickness, I swear. I have plastic and silicone ones, I have small and large trays. I have round, square, and odd shaped ones. I even have one that is half plastic and half silicone which wrap around and pull the ice balls out of the plastic tray...mostly. I can't get enough of these things. So, whenever I come across a set that makes different looking cubes, I have to get it. When I saw this one, I knew I needed it. Again, it is a sickness.Silicone trays are good as long as the two halves join together strongly enough that you can get the seam right. These did a good job, and the filling process was pretty standard. Of course, taking the cubes out involves peeling the silicone off of each "cube" which can vary from difficult to impossible depending on how cold your freezer is. These came out as well as any other silicone mold I have. Finally, I really love the detail you can get on the outside of these things with silicone molds. The textured surfaces really look good in the drink...for the first 14 seconds until the outside layer melts and then you're left with a plain old cube or ball. Still, they look really good at the beginning, just make sure if you're showing them off that you do it quickly.
