Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Dinosaur Survival Guide (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom)

My daughter bought this for her 12 year old brother as a birthday gift. He carried it around for days reading it and sharing it with his friends. I read some of it myself and found it very interesting. It is a great book for those who are fans of Jurassic World and/or the Jurassic World game app.

Love the insider's look at some of the animals and people in the movie. A really decent read for dinosaur fans.

This book is really wonderful! There are exclusive images of dinosaurs and characters from the different Jurassic Park films, and the information is more than told about in the movies themselves. I am a huge Jurassic Park fan, and this book just feeds my mind even further than the movies.

Fun in-universe guide to the new Fallen Kingdom film. Jurassic Park's canon is kind of a mess, and this book has some inconsistencies with other portions of the Jurassic canon, but the info contained within this book is fun, informative, and works just fine.

My son loves anything dinosaurs, he has since he was a baby and he's now 12. He loves the Jurassic Park movies and he loved this book too!

El libro funciona como una especie de dossier realizado por Claire Dearing como fundadora del 'Dinosaur Protection Group' previo a su marcha junto con Owen, Zia y Franklin a Isla Nublar para salvar a los dinosaurios de la inminente erupción volcánica. Al igual que en el 'Manual del Empleado' de Jurassic World, contiene imágenes de post-its que simulan supuestos comentarios y opiniones de los personajes anteriormente mencionados. Parte de la información de este libreto se puede encontar también en dicho 'Manual', como son la cronología de sucesos o las fichas de los dinosaurios, aunque aquí se incluyen algunas nuevas como las del Baryonix, el Sinoceratops, el Indoraptor o los Compsognathus. Con 80 páginas y cargado de imágenes, la lectura se hace amena y rápida aunque uno de los fallos que encuentro en los textos es que mencione de boca de Claire o Zia la existencia del Indoraptor. Sabemos que esto es imposible previo a su entrada en la mansión Lockwood. En cualquier caso, este es un desliz un tanto entendible, ya que sin la inclusión de información sobre el Indoraptor, este libro sobre la secuela de Jurassic World hubiera quedado un poco incompleto. Sea como fuere, podemos considerar los textos aquí contenidos como meros pasatiempos que no afectan al 'canon' de las películas. En resumidas cuentas, por el precio al que se comercializa actualmente, 9-12 euros, resulta una compra recomendable para niños y coleccionistas de la saga.

I love all things jurassic world and jurassic park, and this book is no different. But it does contain a lot of spoilers. That indoraptor is mysterious. I guess we'll just have to wait till the movie comes out. June 22, come faster!!! Written by Ethan (age 11)
