Fine product if your chimney pot is 300mm.

Very simple to assemble and install. I'm in a coastal area prone to quite high winds so I don't know how long it'll last. My other concern is the plastic is likely to degrade over time but I still think this is a good economical solution to allow an unused chimney to ventilate while stopping rain going down the chimney.

I was originally dubious about this cap’s ability to stay put in the wind in comparison to competitor products that involve a strap.Pleased to report the 4 arms securely hold this cap in place so I’m not worried about it blowing off, and it fits my chimney perfectly.

Good product easy to fit they are just expensive for what they are

Product is robust, easily fitted and hasn't blown off in the wind. I bought this thinking it would stop the wind howling down my chimney but it hasn't made a bit of difference to the noise heard on a windy day

Installed in five minutes. Bracing wires are hard to bend so perhaps would be more trouble for a lady on her own but looks like it will do the job perfectly. Glad I bought it.
