For reference, I have thick, fine, straight blonde hair. I love this stuff. The hold, the scent, the shine. It's perfect for my hair type, and the hold is strong but still pliable. It's perfect for pomps or just slicking your hair back. Something I love about it is that I can restyle my hair throughout the day without needing to reapply - the stuff just stays in. It smells great (kinda citrusy), and the scent is quite strong; I like this. The only drawback is that this stuff is pretty hard to get out. It does not come out with water like Suavecito's water based pomades, nor does it come out with shampoo in one wash. I'll find I often still have a bit left in my hair after a shower at night (which honestly isn't a problem for me, makes styling the next day easier, lol). This pomade can literally stay in your hair for days. Be aware of this when using! Overall, it's fantastic for what it is. A firm oil pomade with fantastic shine and stellar scent to boot. Just know that it won't wash out easily!

If you’re looking for a traditional pomade, this is a great one. Just three ingredients; petrolatum, wax, and fragrance. Use a lot for a slick look or just a little for hair moisturizing. This is more than something like Tres Flores in that it does have a wax for control and hold. Nice scent, not too strong. Amount of hold will depend on variables like hair type and weather. I use a small amount and find that it washes out easily with my regular shampoo. The metal can is a nice touch and good quality.

This is a wonderful product. First off, scent is great. If you have thick, wavy hair this product is a game changer. Makes hair very manageable and easy to style without that stiff, old school aqua net feel. Leaves hair with a natural healthy shine. Not greasy at all. It lasts all day and allows for restyling! Would give it 6 stars if I could!

I like this pomade. Be aware it is oil based and as such is a much different animal than more common water based pomades. It doesn’t make your hair crusty but leaves it so it can move a little and is easy to finger comb back in place. But be aware it takes several shampoos to remove it. The only thing I don’t like about oil based is cleaning my hands after application as it is like really thick grease. Think hard Vaseline. But it smells good and looks good.

Coming from someone who rarely ever uses any type of hair product, this is the real deal. I detest the hard, sticky feeling of hair gels and mousse so I decided to try this. First off, it smells great....very manly and the scent stays with you for quite a while. Sure, it's greasy but it's very easy to work with and surprisingly easy to get out of your hair when done (just put conditioner in your hair and let sit for 15 minutes, rinse & shampoo and voila, 90% of it is gone). It holds up quite well throughout the day and if not, it restyle very easily without the use of water. This product is exactly what I have been looking for! I'm 43 years old and realized that I, unlike all my friends, am not going bald at ALL so I figured I'd better make my hair look good!

Over the past few years I've tried Suavecito's water based pomades with great success. This time around I wanted to try an oil based option so I could easily comb my hair throughout the day if needed. Upon arrival and trying this for the first time, I was immediately happy with the medium hold that it provides and the slight musky smell that smells even better once applied. I'm not one for high shine, and this provides a nice matte appearance, with no greasy look. I personally have thicker hair so it takes a few washes for it to all come out (which I don't mind since it makes for easy styling after you are finished showering). Giving this 5 stars is easy, Suavecito makes quality products.

Oil based! Very thick and long lasting. Doesn’t wash out quickly, which I like. It allows me to comb and fix throughout the day and maintains hold, unlike most water based pomades.

Abuelo used his 3 Flowers and I liked the product but just cant deal with the old man scent. I love Suavecito's scent and was excited to see an oil-based pomade. I was expecting something a little 'looser'. It takes a bit of warming up in your palms and is difficult to spread into thicker hair. Once in though, it holds really well without tacking up or flaking and the scent is great. I just need something less waxy.

Habe schon einige Pomadenmarken durch... (Schmiere, Reuzel, etc...) ebenfalls auch Wasserbasierte... Aber ich bin erneut auf Suavecito Pomade gestoßen und sowohl die wasserbasierte hatte mich von der Textur, Geruch und dem Glanz überzeugt.... Als auch diese ölbasierte Pomade die alles gesprengt hatte... Anscheinend wissen die aus Kalifornien was sie tun! Positiv -Geruch ist top! Auch wenn es mir schwerfällt ihn zu beschreiben... (Aber sehr angenehmem und leicht maskulin) -Konsistenz und das einarbeiten in die Haare funktioniert bei handtuchtrockenem Haar einwandfrei -Der Halt ist im mittleren Bereich, aber bleibt dort wo es ist und fällt mir nicht ständig ins Gesicht -Das Nachkämmen klappt einwandfrei -hervorzuheben ist dieser tolle Glanz den mittelfeste Pomaden leider vermissen lassen -lässt sich am nächsten Tag gut nachfolgen Negativ -braucht einige Male öfter um sich auswaschen zu lassen als andere Pomaden...

Bastante buena, en lo personal pensé que solo empelmazaria el pelo (al ser una pomada base aceite) pero no, realmente es bastante buena, te deja un cabello manejable cuando seca, mi cabello rizado tuvo unos rizos bastante definidos y ordenados, si tuviera que decir algo en contra, es difícil de lavar, por lo demás, pienso que es perfecta, incluso más que las de base agua
