My driver, Yondela Mhluzi was so sweet & friendly! My books are arrived in perfect condition. They are absolutely beautiful. Thank you Amazon SA!

A phenomenal series – 5 stars easily! First of all, the hardback books themselves were absolutely stunning. They arrived in perfect condition with no damage whatsoever and were really well packaged, so I was incredibly happy with the physical set. But the SERIES… oh my god. 🤩 This was phenomenal. Book 1 completely drew me in, Book 2 was WOW, Book 3 somehow managed to be even better, Book 4 was a little Christmas filler but honestly, it was SO good, and Book 5 was easily my favourite. I was completely invested by the end! The world-building was one of my favourite parts. The descriptions are so incredibly detailed that you can genuinely picture what is being described and completely immerse yourself in the world. It felt so easy to get lost in the story. The characters were also amazing. There are definitely characters you will love 💀 and characters you will absolutely dislike l, if you know, you know!🐺 😂 but the character development throughout the series was done so well. Every character felt like they had their own personality, growth and story, and the descriptions made it so easy to picture them. And the Bat Boys… 🥹 You will fall in love with them and never go back. Honestly, enough said. The plot flows brilliantly and never felt like it was being rushed. The twists were perfectly executed, and there was such a good balance of emotion, romance, action and tension. There were moments where I was shocked, emotional, excited and completely unable to put the book down. Honestly, a 5-star series read without a doubt. If you haven’t read ACOTAR yet, you NEED to! I absolutely understand the hype now. 😂 I am already absolutely buzzing for Books 6 and 7! Please hurry up! 😭📚✨

I started listening to the first book on audiobook (my first ever) at the end of October on my way to/from vacation. Got home and listened to more chapters on my way to/from work until I was informed I had reached the end of my allotted audiobook hours for the month (grrr) with only four chapters left of book one. I couldn't wait for my time to refill, so I purchased the paperback set here. I just finished book three, and cried a few times finishing it. So good. Some fantasy books go overboard on details and descriptions, leaving me confused - these are well written so that I can remember characters and what they represent in the story. Some romance books get redundant on the spicy stuff - these keep the instances intertwined well enough with the story to not get repetitive. The heat in these books is genuine and realistic - I'd say a mature mid-teen will have no problem with it. I'm amazed at how well the conflicts in the stories are spun - just when I think resolution is coming, the author has brilliant ways to add to it and keep me on my toes. I'm a picky reader, and tend to fall in love with characters for life. Not since my teens, when I discovered M. Lackey's Herald Mage series, have I felt THIS connected to characters. These may be labeled as suitable for young adults, but this 45 year old loved them! Well done. Well written. Well received. These will be re-read for years to come!
