Top Quality with True Value, Highly Recommended!
The powder is exactly as described - top quality inlay powder with beautiful gemstone color. As an inlay hobbyist for the past 20 years, with my personal experience of hundreds of inlay materials, I can tell you this one is real deal turquoise powder, not only it has the beautiful turquoise natural blue color, but also the purity of the powder is extremely rare to find. Purifying gemstone is never easy, I’ve worked with purified pearl powder, lapis powder, coral powder and many more, I learned that it’s really hard to eliminate mineral elements, different powder has to be processed differently due to their physical natures, it’s already beyond my knowledge, but turquoise powder in such purity is just like a treasure for me.Though, I want to point out, that if you really care that you are buying gemstone powder instead of the dyed synthetic/lab created ones, you should get this one, but if you just need the “turquoise” color, then just go get the dyed materials to save some cost, basically for dyed inlay material, you can get any possible color you want, darker, lighter, bluer or whatever, this way, it’s cheaper, but the value of the project is sacrificed.I coach some inlay classes, one of the most common concept misunderstandings among beginners, is that they tend to think that the finishing color is same as the color of the unworked powder or crushed stones. It’s totally not true, actually, after we “stabilize” the powder into the cracks with epoxy or glue, the finishing color will turn darker, and become much more visually attractive, this is the number 1 rule in inlay – never determine the color by only looking at the rough material, finishing color is always darker.Take a look at the powder on my workstation, what a pleasant color! I recommend everyone to have a try with this product.

Works great as an inlay
As an inlay for wood turnings, this turquoise is excellent. Suspend the turquoise in thick viscosity CA in the split, leaving the stone proud to the surrounding surface. Once the CA is thoroughly set, use a drum sander or a belt sander to take the turquoise down almost to the surface, then sand and polish on the lathe. Don't use a scraper.

Great with epoxy
Used with epoxy as a filler in a wood project. Worked great. The color was a bit too blue to be convincing as turquoise but stillPretty

Perfect if you need fine powder.
Very fine powder. Flour-like consistency. Mixes very well with epoxy.

Turquoise dust for inlays
I make Native American style flutes. I sometimes need to fill in small holes or knots or even just inlay designs. I use this turquoise and some thinset super glue and get great results.

Easy to use but not as brilliant Turquoise blue as I expected
I used this product as a filler for a knot hole in the headstock of a cigar box guitar. It was easy to mix with epoxy and use for this purpose. However, I would have preferred a more brilliant Turquoise color. This product seems a little dull.
