Fun activity
Before my mom passed she was very involved with my son they did everything together! One day she got him into rock painting and since then he has been hooked! He ran out of rocks so I got him these and will be purchasing more you get a pretty good amount for the price and I like that they are different sizes he paints rocks as gifts for people and he loves it will keep him occupied forever! I also purchased paint markers to use on them so he wouldn’t be making a big mess and the paint markers have been a life saver for sure!

Perfect for art!
We used these to contribute to a local "rock snake" in town. All of the daycare kids were able to paint them and we took them. They're decent sizes, smooth, a little dusty and needed washing but perfect for what we needed them for.

Great for acrylic painting.
Only 3 of the rocks had chips. There were some beautiful rocks in this package. Smoothness was great. 2 of them had natural "glitter " I would definitely purchase again.

Got these for my toddler because he loves to paint rocks. There’s a zillion flat rocks in our backyard, but we’re in the midst of a snowy, uncharacteristically icy winter & we can’t get to them! I really struggled with the price (I mean, c’mon… THEY’RE ROCKS) but we needed some.What a bummer. They came packaged ok, but inside the little bag they were in was a ton of powdery dust. About 1/3 of the rocks were chipped or cracked! It was most of the nice big ones, too. What was left were small rocks that are harder for him to paint.TIPS:• ALWAYS WASH YOUR ROCKS BEFORE PAINTING! I soaked them in a basin of warm water for a couple of hours, scrubbed with a brush, then laid out to dry. That helped the paint adhere better.• To make your paint colors really pop, prime your rocks with a layer or two of white acrylic paint and let dry completely (especially darker-colored rocks).• Use a clear acrylic spray to seal your finished product and prevent chipping!I won’t spend this much on rocks again…

Great for rock painting party!
Bought these for my daughter’s 10th birthday party for rock painting. Her guests LOVED it and the rocks served as both a fun craft and a party favor to take home. The rocks are perfect size and they do have variations as they are natural rocks, but this makes it fun when you are deciding what to paint. Be sure to wash off the dust and dirt (minimal but it is there - they are rocks after all) before you paint. Also, recommend using paint pens instead of brushes and sealing with modpodge that is waterproof or their dishwasher proof one. Takes a while to dry but it seals it nicely.
