This foldable level is what it claims to be; i.e. a level with multiple sections that can be folded. The level is sturdy and the hinges are tight and hold the needed position/angle without slippage. The level vials appear to be accurate in each of the three fixed orientations (0°, 45°, 90°) The level is made of thick plastic, and the hinges are joined with metal pins, so it seems like it should have no trouble with rough use. Just be aware that unlike the rest of the level, the magnetic strips aren't great. They appear to be made of simple magnetized rubber strips, and consequently they are pretty weak compared to neodymium magnets.

I used to use an app on my phone, which utilizes the internal gyroscopes, to determine leveling. However, I found that it could never truly replicate a good old fashion physical leveling tool. I really appreciate that this not only measures horizontal, but vertical and 90-degree angles. There are also magnets on the slide so that you can stick it against a metal surface or use it as a ruler. The fact that there are 4 joints allowing each of the 5 sections to fold makes this very accommodating. I used this when I built a table from reclaimed wood. Having this multifunction leveling tool allowed me to measure the angles in addition to the surface level. I got more work done.
