This is a great water timer for sure. Intuitively easy to setup, keeps time well, etc. Sunlight makes the display hard to see sometimes but otherwise a decent product.

I recently purchased this Rainpoint timer and am very pleased with its quality and ease of use. It is very easy to program and to adjust if need be and I like the fact that it has brass inlet and outlet fittings. Overall, a quality product that works well. Great value!

This timer is very solid. Makes firm and leak free connections with spigots and hoses. It even comes with extra washers and some plumbers tape just in case there are any issues. The thing I like best though is how easy it is to program. Just click each step on the dial and enter the information using the intuitive =/- buttons until it is all set. Reliably starts and stops as programmed. I would buy it again... in fact I did!

The programable timer is excellent. It is very easy to program, if functions exactly as intended, doesn't induce water hammer and it is relatively compact. While time will tell, the case looks to be water tight and robust.I would have given the product 5 stars except that I haven't been able to eliminate a persistent drip between the inlet fitting and the house tap. I've tried various gaskets, filed the house tap outlet flat to ensure the gasket has a good sealing surface, and applied a variety of tightening techniques but I can't seem to eliminate the slow leak. I will continue to look for ways to eliminate the leak and will report back on reliability of the unit after a season of use.

The reason I choose this outdoor Timer was because it looked easy to program and it had Brass on both the inlet and outlet.My old timer was plastic and one day I went to move the hose andSnap !!!Off went the timer from the faucet.This one is sturdy.The programming is very easy and I had it setup and working in a few minutes.Rainpoint is the brand to choose.Hope this helps :)

Easy setup. Multiple settings for times of the day and for daily to weekly watering times. Works well with soaker hose ringed around tree root ball. Excellent value for the money. Will buy multiple zone controller for drip irrigating veggie garden next season.

Just what I needed to augment my automatic sprinkler system to get extra water on my new grass in my back yard, whichs needs daily water. My city only allows yard irrigation systems to run twice a week, but using a hose is allowed anytime.

It's a nice unit and easy to program. However, I need it to turn on my mister water hose at 10:AM and turn it off at 9:00PM, and this unit can't do that. I can set the start time just fine but, instead of having an end time, you set how long you want it to run. The longest option is 3 hours and 59 minutes. Thus it will not work to fill my particular needs.
