Fullmetal Alchemist: Fullmetal Edition, Vol. 1

First time getting manga this high quality! So worth it. The hardcover is great, love the red sheen on the words. Was so cool opening it to the semi-transparent page in front of the picture of Ed, never seen that kind of paper used in a manga before! The pages are great, thick and shiny paper. All of the colored pages are awesome, and the black and white is really bold. Perfect buy if you’re a lover of the series. My copy did come with some smudges on the white edges though, not sure what it is, but it isn’t too bad.

First, this book is beautiful, new texts, new extras and the hard cover is amazing. I have only a couple issues that don't break the deal but are important to know. For example because of the type of paper used finger prints WILL form on the blacker parts of the book. Another issue is the lack or the extra stories from the original volumes, these are instead replaced with behind the scenes sketches of the characters (which are admittedly really cool) however if you are a fan of those shorts keep that in mind. Otherwise these are just minor inconveniences in a amazing format for one of the greatest manga.

It is simply amazing love everything about it

If you have never read a Manga before and you want to try, this is definitely a great place to start. If you like stories that will get you invested and possibly rip out your heart. This is definitely the way to go. You follow two brothers that are on an adventure to get their bodies back after a very crappy incident, and you will fall in love with all the characters along the way evil or good.

Fullmetal Alchemist is a unique take on alchemy and an alternate world that has lessons that are just as important as when they first came out. I remember watching the original anime and later Brotherhood and now finally reading this feels like meeting an old friend. This book introduces the Elric brothers and their struggles to get their bodies back. Facing down a man who has delusions of grandeur to meeting a man who would sacrifice his own family just to continue his work.

The Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood anime leaves out quite a bit of helpful explanation. The manga is an excellent companion, for those first introduced to the story via the anime. This hardcover edition is pretty nice and well priced. I'm happy I bought it and will continue to buy these editions as they are released.

Regular manag paper or even newspaper activates my allergies but this one has a much better quality, no more allegiance while trying to read manga.

I love this series so of course I had to buy this edition. It came right on time, the pages are crisp and neat. New book smell. ❤️ The only complaint I have is that the bottom corner is dented in a bit. Which could have happened during shipping, wish they would have used some kind of bubble wrap or something around it. If you’re a fan of FMA this is worth the collection.

Hiromu Arakawa's Fullmetal Alchemist is universally regarded as one of the best manga's ever. With good reason, the story and art is outstanding. It's a classic. This is an edition befitting of such a title. It's an extremely high quality, beautiful book which I'm very proud to have. If you enjoyed the anime, then you need to pick this up.

Hiç türkçe yorum görmediğimden yapmak istedim. Fullmetal Alchemis’tin türkçe mangaları da elimde var. Ancak hiçbir şekilde karşılaştırılabileceğini düşünmüyorum. İlk olarak fiyatı oldukça uyguna düşmüştü ki, belirli internet sitelerine baktığımızda 300TL civarlarında. Türkiye şartlarında normal tek bir ingilizce cildi de hemen hemen bu fiyata aldığımız için ve üstüne özel baskı olduğunu da düşünerek mantıklı geldi almak. Bunlar dışında kitap çok güzel. Hardcover ve baskı kalitesi güzel. İlk 3-4 sayfası renkli, geri kalanıysa siyah-beyaz, kuşe kağıdına basılı. Boyut olarak düşündüğümden bir tık küçük, ama böyle daha hoş duruyor. Ön ve sırt kısmı metalik kırmızı baskılı. Bana soyulabilirmiş gibi geldi. Nemli elle dokunmamak iyi olur. Bunlar dışında hasarsız bir şekilde, hızlı bir teslimatla elime ulaştı. Yalnızca sırt kısmında ki yazıda iki harf üzerinde çok da rahatsız etmeyen bi akma var. Bu yüzden de değiştirmek istemedim açıkçası. Özetle şu anki fiyatıyla kaçırmayın derim 🌸

Book came with dents it a bummer

Esse é o mangá mais bem feito que eu já comprei na minha vida, valeu 100% a pena comprar. A capa é dura, a qualidade da folha é incrível, o mangá em si é lindo e as páginas coloridas são impecáveis. Realmente feito para os fãs da serie

Bezos sarai anche l'uomo più ricco del mondo ma spendi qualcosa per far imparare ai tuoi dipendenti come si imballano i libri, perché io non ho i tuoi soldi quindi se spendo 20€ per un libro desidererei che mi arrivasse in condizioni decenti.
