Please watch video to understand why I gave this keyboard a 1 out of 5 stars. The noise that you will hear is coming from the DEP-1. The Donner DEP-1 88 Key digital keyboard has good key sensitivity, some decent sounds and the 88 keys may bey just what some people are looking for. The keys are "Synth Weighted" which means springy and responsive but without the hefty feel of real piano keys. The DEP-1 has a USB port so you can connect to your computer for working with your DAW/Sequencer software. Over all I liked the DEP-1 but there is constant system buzz and noise that is heard constantly whether you use the built-in speakers or plug into a sound system. The noise is bad and ruins the usefulness of this keyboard. The noise comes through the speakers with the volume turned down to zero and even when using the USB port to trigger sound from DAW/sequencing software. I hate to do it but the Donner DEP-1 gets a 1 out of 5.

Christmas gift for my son. Still going strong.

Well, I found out just how good the sound was on this key board at the butt crack of dawn one morning when my kids had a full blown monster mash on this thing. It was easy to put together and plug in. Thank goodness it was not as expensive as other keyboards but still has a great sound quality. We used it for lessons, but now that my son has been waitlisted, he still loves to use it. It takes up hardly any space and it comes with a nice case, so you can put it away if you are not using it. It's a really great piano.

Received the keyboard plugged it in charged it for the time it was supposed to plug it in for. The indicator light works so I know it was charging the keyboard will not turn on. So I tried a different charger just in case the charger was faulty even though the indicator light said it was fully charged. Still nothing. I am very disappointed because Amazon said I had to go through the manufacturer but the manufacturer said I have to go through Amazon. So I guess I wasted money on this keyboard. Unfortunately, I will be looking elsewhere for something different unless I can somehow get a replacement for this item.

Perfect for 7 year old learning to play piano and adult that is an experienced pianist. Easy to put together and not hard to move around if needed. Keys are slightly weighted which makes it nice to play. The ability to play with or without headphones is great. The quality, volume control options and book rest are great. Would purchase again.

0 stars. I received this and was so excited to set it up. Once set up I plugged it in to charge. I tried the keys, half the keys did not work. I figured maybe because it wasn't charged. I went on Amazon, they asked me to trouble shoot, I did, still doesn't work and now I'm returning it and then since I through the box out after I unpacked it and trash came that day, I now have to spend money to buy a box to put this thing in. Very disappointing!

Good for if your just starting. My 9 year old loves it

Works well but like most things kid use for one week now a clothes holder :(
