I mean this works....but unless you have a super compliant dog that will let you in its mouth AWAKE with this tool then you're not going to find it very useful. I managed to use it for probably 30 seconds before my dog got up and had enough so I'd say if you're thinking of getting this for home use, like I said before unless you have a super complaint dog, I don't think you're going to get very far. But that's also not the products fault, the product itself came nicely packaged, its very sturdy and it does work (again if you're dog will let you use it on them)

I haven't actually been using this for its intended purpose. I've been using it for arts/crafts, mainly cleaning stubborn gunk/dirt/paint etc. from items which I'm going to upcycle. They did a great job of cleaning up some old circular saw blades where steel wool, and wire brushes had failed.If it can do that, I'm wholly confident that it can remove plaque/tartar from teeth.

Very pleased with this item. Removing plaque was easy but my dog is very amenable. Much gentle care needed to ensure you don't catch the gum so would be difficult on a dog who was not compliant.

Well made. Inexpensive and easily packed. Quite sharp edged. Textured handle makes twiddling to get into difficult a secure process. Precise. Great for plaque and trapped food.

At least can lightly scale and pick teeth especially after eating meat

This tool has saved my dogs from having to have plaque surgically removed. Really good tool and both my dogs didn't mind having the plaque removed.

Bought this after my dog had dental treatment . She gets brown plague on her teeth , this easily takes it off

Removes plaque reasonable well, needs care to use as very sharp
