The little rod that could.
When ordering this rod I fully expected it to break in the first couple casts, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to fit it in a small tackle box and carry it through dense woods to the bank of a pond. After around 30 minutes of casting I caught what might be my PB on this rod. It was a good fight but the rod held out and I was able to get a largemouth bass onto the bank. I found it helpful to shorten the rod when casting around heavy coverage and then extend it after. It looks quite good for a rod this cheap and it is very portable with its small size. When you extend the rod to its full length it actually locks quite well. It also comes with a small carry bag if you are worried about scratching it or breaking off the eyelets. I would highly recommend this rod if you are looking to go into deep woods to fish a remote pond.

Decent pole
I love telescoping poles for their convenience traveling, hiking and getting in and out of weedy/bushy/confined areas. I’ve had a few - some were crap. This a decent fishing pole by any measure.

Stiffer then i would of liked in a 5'6" rod
The quality of this rod is good for the price. I did have to do a small repair to the reel locking ring. it came unglued. I was going to pair this with an ultralight reel and use it for panfish but its too stiff to make that a fun combo. I ended up putting a bait caster on it and its fun but a little stiff on the action.

Xpedite vs Xpedite Pro
If you’re wondering like I was as to what are the differences between the standard and “Pro” version of the EOW Xpedite rods, I purchased both in 5’6” lengths because I wanted different colors. The only notable differences I could identify was that the handle of the Pro is about 1/2inch shorter. The materials look to be identical besides a couple subtle branding label differences. So what’s the differences between the pro and standard? 1. Color of the rod Pro= Blue, standard= Maroon. 2. Branding labels on the reel collar 3. Handle is 1/2 inch longer on the standard than the Pro. Overall, I really like these rods. They feel good quality and are nice and compact for me to leave in the back of my car and take up very little space. I mounted Zebco Omega Pro spincast reels on them and they hold the reels nice and snug.

I read nothing but good reviews about this pole I was excited to get it, but on my first cast, it broke snap right in half!

Good rod......
I would have given a 4 but the screw hold down for the reel fell apart the first time I put a reel on the pole. Just regleued it . The hole rod had sharp edges and needed to be sanded. Once I did a little work to it, its working well. As well the heel of the rod was placed wrong and had to be repaired as well.

Buy it
Zero complaints here. I use this rod probably 3 times a week and have multiple fish caught on it. Nothing over 3lbs but some really good fights. Holds up great and can’t beat the price. Don’t skip on it.

Great telescopic pole
I have two of these that I purchased at different times and both are holding up great. I put baitcaster reels on them and have had no issues after catching several bass with them. They are great to have when I want to take my motorcycle to the lake to fish. I would recommend them.

Semi durable.
Have purchased 2, both have broke in circumstances not involving fish. It seems to bend well specifically in the direction where a fish would pull it from, but any pressure elsewhere will lead it to break easily.

As Advertised
Nice rod, seems to be really well built. A little on the stiffer side for flex but should give a strong cast.

Super stiff rod
Don’t waste your money, this rod when full extended is stiff!! No give! I can see why other reviews say it snapped first cast,

Not satisfied
It’s not heavy and stable, it’s really lite good for small fishing but not big ones. If u r looking for 10lb or plus then this is not the one for sure. Its more for fun I guess
