Choosy Snobs Choose This!
An annoying and detailed review from a long-time consumer-- Just to clear the air-- my fellow humans; a Tablespoon is measured by DENSITY, not the size of your measuring equipment. The labeling is correct. There is no set standard for a US Tablespoon. It's the density (weight) of the product, which determines the amount per serving. Remember when people started to learn the visual difference between a pound of fat and a pound of muscle? Use a good scale, (and good sense). Plenty of companies use the leeway on the nutritional content they list per US 'guidelines', but in this case, they're not lying about the numbers. As for this product! Pros: Nutty! Works for sweet or savory mixing, and can satisfy an urge for something toasty. Good natural vitamin content, which if you know anything about pumpkin seeds, they're great for magnesium and zinc, and toasting doesn't limit much of their content. Clean ingredients, and a better value than any other companies I've found, that I'm comfortable trusting. Product is from Austria, and quality has been consistent after at least six bags, maybe more. Cons: Yes, the flavor is strong-- this isn't heavily processed pea or whey which has to be stripped down or has sweeteners. Plain pumpkin pepitas are just as strong, but have their fats to mellow them. Think adding cream to strong black coffee. This stuff is a bit bitter, but sweetens easily, with very little! I like to mix protein powder as a paste sometimes, but this is a tad intense. I find two servings (30 grams measured) to be best with two cups of liquid. Usually unsweetened vanilla almond milk and a little sweetener, sometimes a tiny splash of sugar-free coffee flavoring. Also, it can be a little gritty, but not like some other vegan proteins, and I've tried a lot! It's hardly noticeable if you mix well enough, sometimes not at all. Cons if you're looking to bulk: This isn't a one-and-done gaining protein power. You'll want at least four servings a day, which the flavor is going to get old fast. Really fast. Pros if you're looking to lose, supplement, or maintain: This is top notch. Not too much protein (excess protein converts to glucose), so if you don't get enough, or don't burn enough to need extra, this shouldn't set you overboard. The intense flavor is satisfying, and probably way more versatile than I've used it for, so far. The holidays are calling for this in muffins and breads. And a personal take: So far, I'm thrilled with it! It's the only protein which doesn't set off my allergies or stomach issues, so long as I stick to no more than two servings a day. I have a rare form of EDS, and after surgery, I couldn't handle many foods, including any other kind of protein powder. Took too many trials, but this works! A final note: Know what it is before you buy, and don't be surprised that it's strong and earthy. It's not like the old Birkenstocks and bird seed kind of earthy; its toasty and a little bitter. If you leave the bag open, or don't rinse the container with which you mix and leave it on the counter, well, think of what happens if you did the same with peanut butter. After-smell. Otherwise, if you're STILL looking for a protein powder that doesn't upset your stomach, or cause you to break out in hives, this could be the one! Seriously, I can't even handle rice protein, and not just because it goes rancid in 20 seconds, but this stuff doesn't get to me. Wishes for the company: A less intense, untoasted version at a similarly good price; an allergy friendly flavored variety (which is basically impossible, but a person can dream!)

Perfect product! No texture, no grit mixes excellent with cold
12-24-2025 Update: This is my 4th order of this and the product has been consistant throughout. Still mixes well with my hot / cold drinks, its best in the blender or a shaker for shakes. Gives me the perfect protien amount for each day. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am in LOVE with this product!!! PLEASE MAKE THIS A 2LB TO BUY!!! It’s clean and healthy and I can have it! I have tried other protien powders and this is the best of the best I did not taste a specific flavor even in cold water and it dissolves perfectly. I did taste a hint of salt but not a difference to hate this product . Great quality, it mixes perfect with anything and I can’t wait to try it with smoothies. I add mine to my sauces and dips and protien energy balls. There is no texture, no grit I will be buying it again! I wish they offered a larger bag of it LOL 😂 thank you for an amazing product ! Super happy with it If you love pumpkin seeds you won’t be disappointed.

Great flavor! Great protein powder!
I enjoy the flavor, it’s nutty and slightly sweet. I use the pumpkin seed powder in smoothies, my oatmeal and even hot lattes. I use a little frother thing to blend it up and I don’t mind the texture at all. It will sink to the bottom of my latte, but not too bad. I have had no issues with digestion, which is great because other protein powders can cause stomach upset, this has not. I love that I can add it to many different things for a good hit of protein. The bag doesn’t seal up as well because the powder gets caught in it, but I keep the bag in an airtight container anyhow, to help keep out moisture because it’s humid part of the year where I live. Even if the seal worked great, I’d still put it in something else. I love that it’s organic and single ingredient.

Tasty and a good value
I like this company and have ordered a number of their products in the past - for me, I especially like that they indicate gluten free and give a good amount for the price, usually more than I need! I like this powder, it has a nice flavor and I can add it to baked goods or oatmeal with no problem.

I use it for bread!!!
I add this protein to my homemade bread. It gives the bread a meaty texture, ensuring my whole family gets enough protein—which is crucial for both adults and children. I really like this brand; the product has a mild scent, a loose, powdery texture, and a dark yellow color. One downside is that the packaging doesn't seal well, so I had to find a workaround, even though a package like this really ought to close securely. That said, the package size is generous, so it lasts a long time. Vegan! It’s a fairly versatile option: you can add it to juice, water, a smoothie, or yogurt—or use it for baking, like I do) Overall, the price and quality are excellent, so I can definitely recommend this product)

Good nutrition
Good quality. As far as I could research, sourced from a country (Austria) that has good reports regarding soil and environment quality to ensure no heavy metals, toxins etc. Good for us and our dogs as well. Used mostly to add to blended protein drinks. it is a bit grainy and slight raw pumpkin taste as well, but no problem. Adds texture and nutrients to your food.

Tastes like Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
I mix 1 tbsp with 8 oz of room temperature water every morning.. It's only been 3 days.. so far I have had more energy during the day and I have had a bowel movement every day (normally once a week). I am in my 40s and in the trenches with perimenopause. As far as the taste goes, it's perfect for me because it tastes EXACTLY like roasted pumpkin seeds. I will definitely continue and encourage others to buy.

Delicious Pumpkin Seed Protein Powder- Already on my Second Bag
I ordered this as an alternative to animal-based whey-type protein powders. I've tried many types and so far, this has become one of my favorites. Here are my thoughts. KUDOS: It's about $15 for a pound of this organic pumpkin seed protein powder at the time of my writing this review (Dec 2024). The powder is well-packaged in a heavy, resealable bag. The powder mixes very easily in things like plant-based milk and yogurts, with little to no clumping. The taste has a toasted nutty flavor, just like pumpkin or sunflower seeds, which I think adds an earthy but very enjoyable flavor to just about anything I've added it to. There's no lingering aftertaste of additional ingredients as this product is simply the pumpkin seed and nothing else added, no salt, no vitamins, no preservatives and no sweeteners. It's also relatively low in iron (15% daily serving) and that's something I have to watch due to a condition I have so kudos here. CONS: This is entirely subjective but some won't like the color- the powder is a light avocado green and will tint what you add it to that color. I couldn't care less but some won't find the color appealing. OVERALL: This is a clean product that seems to deliver. I def plan to order again when my second bag is done and continue to use. It's a great tasting product and I'm very pleased with the taste and quality.
