Hot & Steamy!!!
I wasnβt sure how I would feel about a serpent, not humanoid alien. However, this book was so freaking steamy with great action and plot. Definitely recommend this one. Do not skip out on it. The FMC Vera is definitely no wimp and open minded/hearted. She is a very strong character and so lovable. Her story on how she ended up on this new planet is just so sad and maddening. The characters are all written so well you just get immersed in the story. The MMC Zathur, has this cute protective vibe. Itβs not bordering morally grey or overprotective. Itβs just like a cute protectiveness the way he coils his tail around her at all times. I am really trying hard not to give anything away. His tale, although nowhere near as tragic as hers, is still sad because his mom is literally a POS. Could not stand her!! As well as her chosen bride for him. You can see how the two were fated to end up together. The fates did well in choosing them for each other. I was really hoping for an epilogue because I wanted to just have that extra closure but Iβm OK with it. I am definitely adding the rest of the series to my TBR list. Happy reading!

It was okay- 3.5 stars
It was a good read, but I struggled a little at the end and almost DNF'd. Glad I pushed through. If I don't compare it to other Naga/Alien books it was 3.5/4 star read. It read a little awkwardly in some parts. This was my first book by this author. Overall, I'll definitely give book 2 a try.

Zather and Veraβs story
Pretty good story, Snakes I think this is my first. Interesting though. That crying girl in here is pretty annoying

Weirdly intriguing
Snake aliens seem extremely silly, even now, but the story wasn't badly done for an obvious lack of editing to fix all the sentence fragments, extraneous commas, wrong word choices (I sense speech wreck is at fault, given "life stock" was used for "livestock'), and the number of times I had to grit my teeth when the non-word " alright" appeared...Seriously, do editors even exist anymore, or are 90% of "writers" just slinging scrap out as quickly as they can? The lack of professionalism these days really ruins a good book. π

When he rescues Vera and the other humans he knows that his fate is tied to hers. Both of these outcasts find acceptance and belonging with one another.proof love can be found in the most dire of circumstances. This also sets off a new adventure and is the first book in a series of Naga stories. It was a solid story and I can't wait to learn more about the Naga and what happened in the time before! ππ₯πππ₯πππ₯π

The Naga Outcast
This was a good read. It kept my interest. I am intrigued by the haunted caves, which are holographic. The characters were strong, and ease to connect with. Good story.

Zathar believed he would never have a mate...until
A skyship crashed, and he rescued the occupants. It seems it was like an execution ship. All the occupants had been deemed guilty of some crime on earth, packed into stasis pods and shot into space. As soon as Zathar touched Vera, his mating sigil illuminated. She didn't know what it meant, but he did. In fact, she was frightened of Zathar. He was half humanoid and half snake! There was another like him whose name was Corin, and he seemed to have medical knowledge, as although most of the "criminals" were uninjured, one female suffered a severe head wound and was unconscious. Corin took charge of her treatment. Although it was very unusual for these displaced earthlings, they soon realized these "snakemen" were trying to help them. And oddly, Vera could actually understand them, as long as Zathar was touching her in some way. This is the first entry in the "Serpents of Serant" series. It is very well written as long as you ignore the run-on sentences, so it's well written with respect to the story content with exciting action, some mystery, wonderful characters and interesting world building. The interactions between Zathar and Vera are intelligent, heartwarming, heartstopping and hot.I've already several other of the stories in the series, and every one has a slightly different theme and is action-packed. Definitely not boring!

Good read
I thought this was a good story. You made great descriptions so we could see what strange aliens we were meeting.
