Sir Kensington's Avocado Oil Mayonnaise 12 oz, Sandwich Spread, 2PK

I consider myself a bit of a mayo expert and this is, without a doubt, the world's best mayo. Simple ingredients and great taste. I'd give 10 stars if I could. The Best!

The flavor and texture are excellent. No aftertaste. I can't taste a difference from Hellmans which has bad ingredients. The ingredients are excellent and it is worth a little extra money to have healthy mayo because I eat a lot of it.

August 2023 Update: The mayo's price has become as reasonable as when I started ordering it back in February. It is now $11.29 with S&S, so I've gone back to using it and giving it 5 stars. The original review is below and I hope they won't jack up the price so massively again. I've had this mayo on subscribe and save since last year. It's delicious and I've been spoiled by it and don't like other mayos now. This year, however, the price spike has become unreasonable and I can't afford it anymore. It was a flat $12 for both bottles (with s&s) back in February 2023 and I ordered it every 3 weeks or so. Now it's nearing $20 for the same bottles! $22 if you don't subscribe. What happened?! The 3 stars are for the insane pricing but to me personally, this is the best tasting mayo. I'm just not going to pay into this price gouge.

We are a real Hellman's mayonnaise house and the switch to healthier avocado mayonnaise was daunting. This brand has been great compared to the others we've tried! It does seem to be missing a little something in the flavor but we've adjusted to it well.

Honestly, this mayo - while it may have some high quality ingredients - does not taste very much like "standard mayo" (e.g Best Foods/Hellman's, Kraft etc.) which is the mayo flavor that I'm used to and the one I want when adding mayo to a sandwich, tuna salad, cole slaw etc.). Smelled ok when I opened, but when I used in cole slaw recently - first time I used it- the slaw just tasted plain nasty, even nauseating... and it was the mayo that did it. Kind of rancid or who knows what tasting... just bad... Anyway, I wish I could say that I like this mayo as it is expensive and I bought a 2pack - but I guess I'm just chucking both bottles in the garbage. Very unpleasant experience. And I'm bummed since I an on a strict keto diet and would like to add some mayo in some the foods. I honestly don't understand all these positive reviews. Anyway, just ordered a 2 pack of "Tessemae's original mayonnaise" - uses high oleic sunflower oil which I've researched is the most healthy of the sunflower oil types - and there is NO soybean oil or other oils. Although not inexpensive either ($20 for too bottles) it does look promising and I look forward to trying that out. But bottom line this Sir Kensington expensive mayonnaise isn't good.

I had never been a fan of “mayonnaise”. Growing up in the south we eat “Miracle Whip”, which we call mayonnaise. Real mayo to me had little flavor so I avoided it. However, after realizing my unhealthy dietary intake, I turned to a semi-keto diet, intermittent fasting, and use of healthy fats in order to avoid the looming coronary artery disease I was headed for. This meant increasing avocado oil in my diet. I discovered that my miracle whip, as well as most commercially available mayo is made with soybean oil. This was not acceptable to me so I did some research and discovered Sir Kensington’s Avocado Oil Mayonnaise. I have to say I love the taste. My only concern is that the avocado oil used to make it is “pure”. I have read studies that indicate most avocado oils on the market are highly adulterated with the bad “seed oils” that are high in omega 6. So, I hope it truly is pure avocado oil. If so, I can recommend this product as tasty. I’ve used it to make tarter sauce, Cole slaw dressing, and I’ve used it on my low carb wraps.

This mayo is usually great. But the order that arrived in October which i unfortunately didn't open until the return window had closed, was nasty. Both bottles looked off and upon opening it, didn't smell right. I tasted a tiny amount and that was a big NOPE. I checked the expiration date and it's February 2026 so it should've been fine. I have my next order arriving next week so I'll be sure to test it immediately this time! If it's bad again I'll cancel my subscription.

I was/am so delighted I found this mayo with avocado oil. It is great for a quick prep meal with the plus of a great oil base. Amazon has an array of pure goodness & this is one of them. Looking for good healthy products is often like looking for a needle in a haystack. Well I found the 'needle', pun intended & am rejoicing. I combine this mayo to a few of my salad dishes or Brit sandwiches, tuna etc. & they were wonderful. I also included it into one of my guilty pleasure comfort dish & it was perfect. Taste tested by family without knowing I used this & they said it was so good. I even added this to a Korean salad like dish & it was yummy. Those were the pros. Cons - These are somewhat expensive. Wish the price was more reasonable, then I would order in bulk.

Received the item one week before expiry. Mayonnaise look like it has curd. Sent feedback to seller but no reply.
