I've bought my fair share of parts kits like this, but this one I received for review actually stands out! For one, the case — while not something I'd want to drop a toolbox on — is sturdy enough that it survived shipping and opening and beyond! (This sounds funny to brag about but in my experience it's rare for there NOT to be at least one busted hinge or lip or latch by the time the arrive…)Opening the case is pleasant as well. Sometimes these things come packed so specifically that once you take one part out you're lucky to get the lid closed without puzzling through how they managed to jam everything in. But this is set up for USE not just shipping — there's a generous amount of room in the in the case and each bay has a handful of male connectors laid in one way and female connectors laid in the other, a nice touch to make it easier to find and grab the one you're after without too much digging or untangling.With the bonus zip-ties, bits of heat shrink, and even some double-stick pads this will be a nice set to keep on hand for all sorts of repairs and upgrades to other gadgets and battery packs through the years.
