Nice jacket and worth the price.
I appreciate the airflow this jacket provides. I do like the color (red and black on mine) and the overall feel. I have extraordinary long arms. I special order my dress shirts from big and tall with 39" sleeves. That being said the sleeve could stand to be a little longer as only the tip of the elbow pad is actually on my elbow, the rest is closer to my bicep. But that is no fault of the jacket and is something I have grown used to dealing with during my time on planet earth. If you have normal length arms, this jacket is perfect for you for casual street riding.

If I could give them a 10 I would
I’ve reached that age where my "safety hoodie" just doesn't feel like enough anymore. I still want to stay cool while riding, but I finally admitted I needed some actual armor between me and the pavement. I decided to pull the trigger on this BYKR mesh jacket because the price was right and the reviews looked solid. Right out of the box, the quality actually surprised me. It feels sturdy without being heavy, and the airflow is incredible. It really does breathe like a dream, which is a lifesaver when the sun is beating down on the asphalt. The only real hurdle was the sizing. I made the mistake of ordering it the same way I buy my hoodies, and let me tell you, it was a total "fat guy in a little coat" situation. It ran way smaller than I expected. I figured I just botched the math, so I ordered one size up, but honestly, it felt almost exactly like the first one. I was starting to get a bit frustrated, so I reached out to their customer service team just to figure out what was going on with the fit. That is where this company truly shines. Their support team was absolutely A1. Instead of giving me some canned response, they actually took the time to ask for my specific chest measurements to make sure we got it right this time. On top of being super helpful, they are sending out the correct size for free. Even if the jacket itself wasn't already a great piece of gear for the money, that kind of service is rare these days. It’s a relief to buy from a brand that actually stands behind their stuff and makes sure you’re taken care of.

Excellent Economic Summer Jacket
I normally wear size L jackets since I normally prefer looser fit clothes and the ability to add layers underneath. However, I purchased this jacket exclusively for summer use, so I took a risk and ordered the recommended size M. The jacket fits me absolutely perfectly. The CE armor is in the correct place without causing any discomfort. The jacket is fully adjustable at the waste, arms and neck, which let me get a perfect fit, and it is very light and decently ventilated. I opted for the Hi-Viz color and let me say, it is definitely eye catching, especially with the reflective logo, which it is worth mentioning that the branding on this jacket does not seem tacky to me, unlike some of the other budget brands. Now let's talk about storage. In terms of it, this jacket has fewer pockets than my old jacket (Castle X). However, the number of pockets it has is more than enough for me. It comes equipped with two external zipper pockets, an internal phone pocket, and an internal generic pocket. I do not know if I will ever use the internal pockets, but the zipper pockets seem nice. Speaking of zippers, on the rear of the jacket is a zipper that can be zippered to the corresponding BYKR pants (I did indeed buy them) to prevent your jacket from riding up! In summary, this is an excellent economic option for anyone looking for a nice summer jacket with adequate protection for cruising around.

Fantastic airflow and fit—just plan on upgrading the armor
I've ridden a few hundred miles in this jacket now that the weather has warmed up, and overall, I am really happy with it. I purchased it in the Grey color, and I really like the look and fit. For sizing reference, I am 5'10", 210 lbs, with a 44" chest, and the XL fits me perfectly. The airflow on this jacket is absolutely great, making it an excellent choice for hot summer rides on my naked bike. One of my favorite features, especially in comparison to other budget jackets like the HWK Scorpion, is the main zipper. The BYKR features a much beefier plastic zipper that feels durable, and best of all, the zipper slider is on the correct right side (U.S. standard) instead of the left. It is much easier to align and use. If I had to change anything about the upper part of the jacket, I could definitely do without the collar velcro, but it's a minor annoyance. The jacket loses one star for a couple of small storage quirks and the included armor. First, the pockets overall could be a little bit bigger. Specifically, the inside zipper pocket on my jacket doesn't zip correctly; when I pull the zipper, the teeth immediately separate and open up behind the slider, defeating the purpose of locking it. I don't use that specific pocket at the moment, so it isn't a major concern for me right now, but it's worth noting. Second, the "armor" included with this jacket is essentially the same as what you get with other budget brands—just basic foam pads. I wouldn't trust them to do much of anything in a real crash, and I highly doubt they have any official CE certification. However, because this is a budget-friendly jacket, you get what you pay for, and the built-in armor pockets make it incredibly easy to upgrade. I spent about $90 on RevZilla to replace the factory foam with a genuine AXIAL AX1 back protector (CE Level 1) and AXIAL AX2 Air shoulder and elbow armor (both CE Level 2). Aside from the cheap foam pads and the finicky internal pocket zipper, this is an excellent mesh jacket. If you are willing to spend a little extra to put legitimate armor in it, the fit, look, and airflow make it an incredible value for summer riding.

Very Protective and Breathable
I am 5'5 at 130lbs and the small size was admittedly a little big, but it has button and velcro adjustments all over. After adjusting it all to my small body, I could finally see how it was, and ooo this is nice. It is lightweight for sure. It's super warm and very breathable. Not to mention it looks cool. The spinal foam sticks out but after I put my backpack on, it was nice and firm to my back, once again I'm just a tiny person. It is waterproof and really bang for your buck! Hell yeah, be safe out there guys!

Great value jacket (not crash tested)
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this jacket. The zipper is thick/strong (not these little junkie HWK zippers, thats right i said it) and well stitched too. 5 pockets, media pocket is deep and wide (fits my S24 FE which is a pretty large phone) and has a folding velcro closure. Has zipper chest wallet pocket. Armor is thin but it has full armor that can be replaced with better stuff if you want to feel a little bit more secure. Good air flow I was even a little cold when I was omw home as temps dropped as the sun went down. But rode in 90 degree heat and didnt really feel the heat. Will it gold together on the slide? Let's hope we never find out.

Comfy AND Safe
Not only is this jacket super comfortable and breathable, but the pockets and zippers are super secure and there's enough room in the chest to hold a couple cans or bottles to bring drinks home with you. Aside from that, the safety aspect is top notch, which is something I wouldn't expect from a $50 jacket. I was in an accident a few days ago where I, quite literally, got hit by a truck. Aside from some aches in my lower back and shoulders, this jacket stopped any injuries in my torso. No broken bones in my arms, ribs, or spine! The padding is a little bulky but absolutely served its purpose, and the jacket doesn't even have scuffs on it after the accident, as seen in the pictures. Definitely recommending this jacket to any fellow riders looking for a cheap jacket to get into the scene safely!

OK temp jacket
Lasted about a year before the waist straps broke. If you are looking for something to get you by until you can afford a better option, this works. Also, it does have a back/spine insert. The jacket is upgraded to did not have the back insert and I was able to use the one from this jacket. So, all in all, I think it was an OK value for the use.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Motorcycle Jacket!
I’m really impressed with this motorcycle jacket. The fit is comfortable, the material feels durable, and the mesh design provides excellent airflow while riding. The protective armor gives me extra confidence on the road without making the jacket feel too bulky. I also like the adjustable straps around the arms and waist, which help get a better fit. For the price, this is an excellent jacket for everyday riding and longer trips. Definitely a great purchase and I would recommend it to other riders! 🏍️🔥

Comfortable and high quality
This jacket fits better than other brands and kept me cool during 2 long days of riding training for my license. Now that the weather is cooler it keeps me warm as well. It is high quality and the armour feels sturdy. I feel safe riding with this jacket and will be buying more gear from BYKR in the future!
