Being an older woman, I am not fond of lipstick because I feel like it lands in too many wrinkles and globs up. This lip stain is perfect for me. It glides on smooth, doesn't glob in my fine lines and stays on all day long. I don't like leaving lipstick on cups when I am drinking coffee or glasses when I am drinking my iced tea and this does not leave a trace. It stays on my lips. I love it. I have tried others, but none suited me as well as this. Highly recommend.

This is like a sharpie for lips - I love it! Does not "feel" like anything is on at all. Great for doing a little overlining. Many (but NOT all) lip balms and sunscreens can go right over this stain without smearing. Test your favorites first, some oily products might act as removers. But many won't -I put a burts bees over it and it didn't budge. The color will turn out uneven or too dark on dry, patchy skin. Keeping lips gently scrubbed and moisturized every night is just good practice anyway. This is great if you know what to expect!

Great color for the fall.

These lipstains by covergirl are far superior to alot of affordable brands and even higher end brands. Once dried, they don't move! I now have these in 4 shades and love them all. I prefer a dark color on me and sometimes the darker the color, the more patchy n weird it can get but not these. This pic is shade Spiders Web. It gives a deep, cool toned purple with a blue/black base to it. Perfect color for me, i absolutely love it! I lined my lips, pressed them tgthr to blend the line a little and let it dry. Then i applied a clear gloss over it and rubbed it all around to kind of blend it all tgthr a bit more. Thats it. Perfect cool toned, dark, purple/plum/berry lip color that lasts all day! I wanted to show my results but PLS don't mind the face tape lol. I didn't feel like removing it for the pic (sorry)... I just wanted to quickly show the color. I highly recommend these lip stains to anyone looking for affordable stains that last all day!! Too much oil in a gloss/lip oil will break down the formula so keep that in mind. I prefer a thicker gloss or balm that will stick to the lip and stay longer. The more you reapply gloss over the stain, the more you can break down the formula too. I carry the pen with me to work so I can reapply the stain if need be. Covergirl Outlast will last thru eating, drinking, kissing, talking, wind, rain, sleet ,hail, etc etc. Great product! I've also included a Pic of me at work with a full face of makeup and this lip combo (CG stain in Spider Web topped with Sheglam gloss in Freesia) pls don't mind the beautiful uniform and hairnet lol. This combo lasts me ALL DAY
