I got the 1TB Dragon Edition. Appearance-wise, I love how cool it looks. The writing/reading speed is great, but keep in mind that I have mostly stored photos, graphic files, videos and GIFs. I am using a Macbook, connecting this to a dongle, and it heats up when transferring, but not to the point of overheating. I heard great reviews about this product. I am trusting all my files with this, and I hope this will last me a long time.

Hella badass it does EXACTLY what I need it to do which is play games and protect ALL my game stuff.

The product is great, light and small. On the other hand, I had complications to understand and install the software about security safe for storing files.

It works

I had this for only one day and left it plugged into my computer overnight with a work in progress, and got up the next day and had three warnings from my Mac that I should shut the drive down before removing it. If you’re not a Mac user, you probably don’t know what that means. Macs simply don’t like having drives detached from them before ejecting them, and this told me that the drive disconnected three times in the middle of the night. I had hoped that it was something to do with the overnight process. It was not. While working on my project the next day, the Dragon drive would just disconnect at random moments, something that is fatal for projects on a Mac. I knew then I would have to have replace it, wait for the replacement, transfer all the files I had put onto the Dragon drive, and then clean it and send it back. I bought a Samsung and said a forever goodbye to Sandisk, whose drives have these problems featured in their reviews far too often. If you buy this drive for its looks, trust me, that is all it will offer you.
