I ascended to the glory of QD-OLED thanks to some fortunate sibling synergy – built my brother a PC, he paid me extra, I gifted him my old monitor, and boom, upgrade time! Best. Justification. Ever. First impressions firing this MSI MPG 341CQPX up in a dark room? Absolute wow factor. The blacks are so black, they blend seamlessly into the bezel and quite possibly the 4th dimension. I genuinely couldn't tell where the screen ended. My poor cursor looked like it needed a tiny hard hat and a searchlight just to navigate the void. Coming from another MSI ultrawide (an Artymis 34") whose aggressive 1000R curve made spreadsheets look like funhouse mirrors, I was initially worried this monitor's 1800R curve wouldn't feel immersive enough for gaming. I recently upgraded from an old 27in IPS 1440P monitor to the MPG 341CQPX and the difference has been night and day in both visual quality and size! I was hesitant to switch to an ultrawide monitor due to it's size, but the size was similar to having two 27in monitors so the size became a wash. Then moving from IPS display to QD-OLED was unbelievable. I was immediately wowed by the vibrant colors as this is my first OLED screen so this was my first experience using and OLED in person. At first I was very cautious and concerned about burn in, but after a few weeks that concern went away mainly because I was too immersed in the games i was playing on the monitor and even if burn in happens the 3 year warranty covers burn in. This is also my first high refresh rate monitor, which i didn't think would be that big a deal, but it really does feel more responsive in games. The only thing I wish it has was built in speakers. My old monitor had it and was very useful, so I needed to buy a cheap set of speakers to it. I also like having the KVM and the USB-C PD port, this lets me easily connect my work laptop to the monitor and don't need to switch my peripherals from my desktop to my laptop which is a big plus. Overall I would recommend anyone on the fence about this monitor to give this a chance and don't look back.

Racing games and flight sims feel incredible. ​Performance: The 0.03ms response time makes motion feel liquid smooth. I noticed an immediate difference in how snappy my inputs felt. ​Quiet & Cool: Unlike some other 49-inch monitors, this one is fanless (it uses a graphene heatsink). It’s silent, which is a huge plus for late-night gaming. ​Built-in KVM: This is a life-saver. I can switch between my gaming rig and work laptop while using the same keyboard and mouse. ​Things to Note: ​Desk Real Estate: This thing is massive. If you buy this monitor, you can expect all the pros and cons of QD-OLEDs: extremely vibrant colors, deep blacks, great color accuracy, great HDR, but not so great brightness. QD-OLED in particular isn't as good as WOLEDs in bright rooms. But regardless of the tradeoffs, MSI has nailed it! Pros 1. HDR is beautiful with latest firmware update: EOTF boost mode. Colors POP! 2. No active cooling required! 3. Brighter than expected, especially in SDR mode. 4. Colors look AMAZING. 5. The 240 Hz refresh rate feels great, makes a huge difference in games! 6. The KVM mode is cool. You can do PIP or screen split with multiple computers 7. MSI is still updating and supporting it. Cons 1. If you do not update the firmware, HDR will look washed out 2. Display is rather thin. Doesn't feel that sturdy though it's high quality 3. Glossy surface catches fingerprints 4. Not as bright as newer models, though for $699 on black Friday this was a steal!

Just bite the bullet! Coming from an Alienware AW2723DF this is a night and day upgrade. I bought that monitor two years ago because OLED was too expensive. I really wish I wouldn't have wasted my money and spent the extra dollars for an OLED. It's by far the best gaming experience you can have. I was extremely skeptical of buying an ultrawide monitor due to older reviews (5+ years ago) about limitations with web pages and such. I also read the RTINGs review of the monitor and it mentioned how the text isn't crisp like IPS monitors. Needless to say neither of these are an issue for me. First, web pages load correctly and display across the whole screen. Whatever issues they had years ago seem to have been resolved. I haven't come across any sites that do not display properly. Second, I cannot tell the difference of the text from my old IPS monitor and this one. Granted, I've not looked at them side by side but legibility is not an issue and text isn't bothersome. Don't let that hold you back from buying this thing. This monitor also is more adjustable than my Alienware as it could only be adjusted horizontally and vertically. This OLED monitor not only adjusts vertically and horizontally but also you to angle it up. Onto gaming. My old Alienware was a great gaming monitor but being an IPS it had its limitations with blacks. I could see the hot spots from the backlight pretty clearly and quite frankly, it's annoying. I am used to Plasma and OLED TVs and after switching from my PS5 to PC gaming it was a downgrade. I figured colors were great on my Alienware monitor; however, switching to this OLED showed how much better the OLEDs color accuracy is. Colors are much more vibrant and more accurate. I'm giving this 4 stars for some petty reasons. First, the included HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB B cables are too short. I need an extra foot or two for the cables to reach my PC and the cables they provide are just not long enough. Next this monitor uses USB B 2.0 and my Alienware came with USB B 3.0. The Alienware cables were long enough but the fact that MSI choose to use USB 2.0 means that I have to shell out money for new cable just so it can reach my PC. Overall I’m thoroughly impressed with this monitor and I have no regrets buying it.

I had just finally finished building my PC after 5+ months and now needed to pick my monitor. My old monitor was an old 1080p 180hz 27inch monitor. So I knew I wanted something that could push and fully display my new hardware. I had always wanted an OLED monitor. But not what type. After comparing this monitor with its competitor's, I really couldn't find a reason not to go with this one First off, the Stand is great. It's nice and stable. One of the big things I wanted. As I had gotten a electriconic standing desk. So I wanted to make sure the monitor could stay still well. And it does so by a lot. The overall look of the monitor from the packaging to the asthetics is nice and care is definitely put into it. The ease of use is also top tier. Using the controller or gaming app works wonders. I was worried jumping into Oled from hearing about Burn in and pixel cleaning. I have to say the fear and annoyance is definitely over exaggerated. My monitor goes into cleaning mode about 16 hours of use? That's not bad. Especially if you are a human being and need sleep. Jumping into 3440x1440p QD-OLED provides a whole new level of amazement. The 6 biggest games I've been playing since I got the new monitor are Cyberpunk, Nuclear Option, World of Warships, Heavy modded Skyrim and Fallout 3, and Metro Exodus All of these display well and amazing. Wasn't sure about the hype for OLED. But was not disappointed. While I mostly do play PC now, I still play some older console games. Like for example, I just recently played Call of Duty 4 for the Xbox 360. The ease of setting this up for console play is nice. Monitor is able to help bump up the looks of such an old console. There's no need to do anything to get this to work either, just plug and play I would heavily recommend this monitor for anyone looking into Ultrawide. Has not been a disappointment at all!

I purchased the MSI 491CQPX QD-OLED 49-inch as an upgrade to a 49-inch Samsung monitor for a sim racing cockpit. Without a doubt, every simulator looks far better. Color saturation is excellent. The high 240 Hz refresh rate keeps everything running very smoothly (from an nVidia 4080 GPU). Every on-screen element just "pops" compared to the LCD (which, I had thought, looked quite good). This MSI monitor is lighter than the prior Samsung LCD model. Mounting the 491CQPX to the cockpit VESA mount was simple. There are four included standoffs that can be screwed into the back of the monitor instead of the desk mount. With the standoffs in place, four VESA mounting points are easily accessible. If you are a sim racer, and this monitor fits your budget, I highly recommend it.

La compra y el envio fue con "Amazon Estados Unidos", llego 2 dias antes de la fecha programada. el envio fue rapido para ser importacion (6 dias), la caja tenia una un hoyo provocado por un golple supongo en la parte superior, afotunadamente no le paso nada a la proteccion interior. El monitor llego en buenas condiciones y funciona excelentemente. Lo compre cuando tenia una pequeña promocion el precio fue de 14,944.

Very good and bright panel, as one would frankly expect from an OLED. Also it does have the VRR flickering issue that all oleds seem to have, as it’s innate to the technology. So do yr research which panel tech is best for your needs. Positive surprise is the feature rich menu of the panel and the software that can also setup the panel. E.g I didn’t expect Adobe RGB profile on a gaming monitor! Only downside I would mention is the oled care of MSI is a bit intrusive, and could be smarter (it cannot be programmed e.g to run every night). I never had this come up with my oled TV, but I suppose static pc content increases the risk of burn in. So hopefully it preserves the panel’s quality.l, in which case it’s a fair trade off against the amazing oled screen quality. Just be mindful of these drawbacks when going from IPS to OLED..

عندي قبلها lg ultra 34 inch oled لكن الفرق بين lg و msi فرق السماء عن الارض ال msi الوانها وسطوعها شي ثاني من الاخر خرافيه بمعنى الكلمه اما lg فهي سيئه وباهته جدا الوانها وخساره الفلوس فيها ايضا من ناحيه اذا تبغى تصور او تسجل فيديوهات انتبه لابعاد الشاشه لاتاخذ الا 16:9 مثل شاشه lg الي شريتها كانت ابعادها 21:9 اعتقد فتجي مقاطعك عريضه جدا ومن فوق وتحت الشاشه تبان سوداء بالفيديو لان ابعاد 99% من شاشات الكمبيوتر والتلفزيونات 16:9 فيكون فيه فرق بالابعاد باختصار اذا تبي تلعب بس خذ لك شاشه عريضه واذا تبي تصور خذ شاشه ابعادها 16:9 اما هالشاشه فهي oled 4k حقيقي وممتازه جدا جدا وافضل من lg السيئه من كل النواحي بالرغم من ان lg هي المصنع الاساسي والموزع للشركات مثل msi وغيرها لوح oled لكن فيهم دلاخه الوانهم خصوصا سيئه

This was my first experience with OLED, and I LOVE IT, I can't go back. I was unsure to switch to OLED because people mentioned how reading font on OLED could look blurry / have artifacting but honestly I find it just as crisp as my old monitor! I was also not going to swtich to OLED in case of burn in, however there are many options that MSI added to help prevent burn in, and they're automatically enabled on the monitor out of the box. I will be cautious and hide my shortcuts and taskbar etc. anyways. But with these out of the way, I decided to try this monitor and I am so glad I did. Great colour quality! Really vivid colours! Deep blacks! Software is easy to use. The picture brightness for blacks isn't bad at all, I just wish one of the settings in the monitor menu bumped up the shadows just a little bit more for my liking. But that was easy enough in the Nvidia settings for now for gaming. I was able to get amazing picture quality, and have it just the way I like it, and still maintain really nice colour and vibrancy. Didn't really have to adjust it but the slight bit that I did adjust, *chefs kiss* I have nothing bad to say about this monitor! I would recommend it to anyone looking for quality picture and ultrawide size, and great price. Also after having a 49" monitor it's hard to go back to only using anything smaller :)
