WC BandZ Virtuoso V2 - Silicone Headband Cover for Corsair Virtuoso

I have found a winner! A couple of years ago, maybe three, I purchased the Mark Levinson 5909 wireless ANC headphone, a majorly expensive purchase worthy of it’s price due to the exceptional sound, especially when used as a wired headphone. I won’t focus on the merits of the 5909 too much here though except to mention that the issue I have with them is the padding on the underside of the headband is covered in some kind of leather which is nice enough but it is glued to the headband with an adhesive which is like rubber cement and the darn thing all comes apart. I’ve had to replace the underside twice. I find that unacceptable on a $1000.00 pair of headphones, so I started looking for a headband cover. After a few different frustrating attempts I found this one, which I’m very much pleased with. It’s not a perfect fit, but at least it’s wide enough to wrap around the headband. I placed a quarter inch piece of foam inside just under the zipper on the top of the headband in order to fit better. I didn’t need any additional padding on the underside. The headband looks a bit thicker than original but the added girth is on top for the most part. The end result is a better fit on my head and it stays atop my head better, too. If there is a caveat it’s that the zipper demands you get the teeth completely inserted deep into the receptacle so that it doesn’t come undone. I have wrapped RED and BLUE electrical tape on each end to indicate right and left ear up for proper placement upon my head. I highly recommend this headphone cover.,,

While this headband cover does a great job at hiding the original peeling leather band, it fits the headphones way too snug and has no cushion left for ones poor head whatsoever. As a result, the curve it creates makes a very clear pressure point at the top of your head, which makes it painful to wear these for more than 30 min. YMMV, if you have a lot of very dense hair or if you are wearing it over a beanie, it may work better for you, but otherwise I recommend not buying this item.

I really love this! They are soft and don’t pull your hair or anything! Easy to put on and feels like it will last!!

The fabric versions were much nicer. This is much too stiff which makes it uncomfortable and it doesn't fully fit my headset.

I bought this to protect my $200 headphones and make them slightly more comfortable. It is amazing! It's comfortable, keeps the original foam padding protected and it looks absolutely amazing too! There's so many different designs and they all look really good! Installation was easy, just slide it over and zip it up! It's are fairly cheap too for the product they're meant to protect, I love this and would 100% buy it again in a different design!

Not very happy with this product. The pros: Simple installation, more attractive than peeling p-leather The cons: Too small to properly fit over the part it replaces, resulting in an awkward appearance. The rubber material holds its shape too aggressively and has very little "give", which makes the headset feel very uncomfortable during prolonged use. In addition, it doesn't quite match the original headband's natural curve, so when using the headset the top of the cover gets this scrunched up, wavy look that's really unflattering. Aesthetically, it's a minor improvement. But for daily usability, it's just so uncomfortable that I had to take it off. I'll stick with my peeling p-leather a bit longer.

Very nice good quality

I love my Corsair Virtuoso RGBs, but the headband recently started to peel and flake, which was getting annoying. I picked up this WC BandZ cover in the "90's White" color, and it fits perfectly. Not only does it completely cover the peeling area, but it actually looks like a natural part of the headset rather than a bulky add-on. The installation was incredibly easy, it just wraps right over the existing band. The silicone material feels high-quality and is much more durable than the original faux leather. Plus, since it’s machine washable, it’s a lot easier to keep the headset looking clean over time. Pros: - Saves the Headset: The best solution for the common "flaking leather" issue on the Virtuoso series. - Easy Installation: Slides on in seconds with a snug, precision fit that doesn't move around. - Great Aesthetics: The "90's White" adds a nice custom look to the RGB setup. - Hygiene: Being made of silicone and machine washable makes it much more sanitary than the original band. - Compatibility: Works across the whole line (Wireless, XT, and SE). Cons: - Price Point: At over $30, it’s a bit of an investment for a silicone cover, though it’s cheaper than buying a new headset. - Slight Bulk: It adds a tiny bit of thickness to the top of the band, which might slightly change the fit for people with very small heads. Final Verdict: If your Virtuoso headband is starting to fall apart or you just want to protect a new pair, this is a must-have. It fixes the flaking issue permanently and gives the headset a fresh, updated look. Definitely worth it to extend the life of an expensive piece of gear!

Hurts to wear it can wear my headset for longer 30mins without pain

Passt super auf mein Virtuoso SE und die Montage war kinderleicht. Das Material fühlt sich sehr wertig an und der Bezug verrutscht beim Tragen nicht. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich jetzt noch nichts sagen.

Passform ist gut und auch leicht anzubringen. Aber mein Kopf schmerzt an der Stelle wo das Kopfband aufliegt. Für mich nicht zu gebrauchen.
