As the other reviewer has mentioned, the body isn't as sturdy as you may think but chances are it won't come off easily by itself. It may protect the iPad if it was dropped onto carpet from one to two feet in the air, but probably not more than that. Of course, the screen itself is not protected at all so if the screen hits anything first then it will still crack. Although most may know this already but it's definitely not a case that requires little to no supervision while being used by your child.With that said, the handles are a nice touch and the same with the kick stand. However, the kickstand feels a bit flimsy and isn't too smooth to operate.Overall I would've liked it if it was $10 or less.---Update: After not even a month, the flimsy kickstand is already broken.
