I have had 3 of these(2 with 1 size smaller dial and have never had to replace a battery.)( At least 3 years I'd say). Mine generally get so beat-up doing rough mechanical work I replace them before the battery os worn out. BUY IT !!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT. I won't buy any other watch for every day use!!!

No only the hands will glow for a short period of time after being exposed to some lighting
