I am an older runner who wears a Thuasne offloader knee brace and a calf-length compression sock on same leg. Getting used to the knee brace was a bit of work, and the straps cut into my leg on long runs. I tried a sleeve from another manufacturer but I had to send it back as it was too long and I could not get it onto my leg. I ran 5 1/2 miles this morning using this sleeve for the first time and wow I could feel the snugness of the brace but no chafing or scratching. The first thing I did when I got home was to order two more of them. For sizing, I am male, 5’ 10” and I weigh 180 lbs. The XL size fit perfectly and stayed up without slipping. I’m a runner, so it’s possible my thighs may be a little larger than a non-runners would be.

I’ve had six knee operations and have worn just about every brace out there. A problem has always been chaffing or blistering under the brace when wearing all day as on long hikes or during intense activities like volleyball. Back in the day I even tried making my own knee sleeves out of my wife’s leggings to try ease the pain! They worked somewhat but were too hot, itchy, bunched up at the back of knee and we’re almost as bad as the brace itself. (Plus I made my wife really mad!) This undersleeve fits well, is very comfortable, washes up nicely, is long enough to fit all lengths of braces (even under osteo/unloader types) and is priced well. Two features of note are the elastic top band which holds the undersleeve up without choking your thigh (closeup is of inside of band) and the flat construction of the seam both inside AND outside, which eleminates irritation at the pressure points under the sleeve and under your brace. This simply is the best knee undersleeve I’ve ever used.

Comfortable, not to tight just right, helps keepp my knee brace from getting to sweaty and stinky.only thing sucks it does slide down a little but my thighs are alot thicker.

Works okay as a protective layer under a knee brace. Helps reduce rubbing and adds slight cushioning, but it can slip or bunch during activity. Fabric isn’t very breathable, so it gets warm. Decent as a temporary solution, but not perfect.

The photograph of the undersleeve shows a long sleeve (mid-thigh to ankle), BUT the actual sleeve is much shorter (barely covering the knee) and thus is too short for a knee-brace.

Washes well and solved the blister issue from the knee brace. I hang to dry and it keeps its shape and stays in place during use. Ordered a second one to have while other one is being washed.

I ordered this sleeve to fit under a brace the doctor ordered For me to wear for six weeks. The brace would constantly slip down on my leg. When I wore the sleeve, the brace would just pull it down with it. So it did not work for the purpose of holding the brace in place on my leg. Other than that, it was soft and felt good on my leg.
