My arranger musical keyboard has one mic jack and bucketful of options to tune and/or modify the input.For public performances, I use 2 mics (one L, one R) though a separate mixer and can't utilize the keyboard's options. My intention was to use this splitter assembly to use both mics through the keyboard. Connected to a single port on the mixer, they function well (as advertised). Unfortunately, through the keyboard, extreme and unpredictable feedback made them unusable for what I wanted. My rating reflects that, but as far as connecting 2 inputs to a single input they perform ok.

Build quality of this Dual Female XLR to Male XLR cable is excellent. The cable is very reasonably priced for what looks, feels, and sounds like a premium product. I like the cotton mesh surrounding the cable to give the cable protection, and it has multiple shields to block out interference from other electronics. I used this product to combine the left and right channels of my DDJ-1000 into a stereo signal on one line. This is convenient when the sound system you're connecting to only has a single input or for when you want to minimize cable clutter (in short runs 10-20ft or less). I'd highly recommend this product to any musician/DJ/producer using electronic gear.

I have more drums than I do available channels on my mixer, so I got these to make my soundman friends happy. They work great, and I can get all my drums miked with no trouble.

I’m a drummer and I wanted to see if I could send two mics into one input on an audio interface. I was able to connect to mic using a two mic configuration with one overhead mic and one mic equidistant picking up the sound center between bass drum, hit hat and snare. Turn outs I wa sable to connect and hear both signals with out any polarity or cancelation issues. If you need to send two mics into one signal I know that works and sounds quality isn’t an issues. Overall good value item with great performance.
