it works perfect. Didnt take long to fit. Great price and it does what it is supposed to. It does not look overbearing on the wooden window frame and it got us through the building inspection we needed by Building control. So if its good enough for them - its good enough for everyone !!

Ideal for allowing you to open the windows for ventilation, As you would expect from Yale, they are excellent quality. I was able to buy them much cheaper than from a DIY store, useful, as I needed three of them.

Robust and does the job
Don't know why some chubb locks are supplied with cheap 'soft metal' keys where the hexagon end quickly wears off. Got some replacement locks recently with this type of key but needed more (ideally one per room). These are spot on, and crucially wear well. Sound expensive but price is right/similar across many suppliers.

Like For Like Replacement
Used this to replace an identical lock on which the thread had worn and could no longer be locked in position. The maximum lock position provides maybe 1.5 inches of ventilation, but, with the locking nut removed, the window can be opened fully to allow maximum ventilation. It is not the perfect fit on the frame, but does the job.
