This book was hard to put down. Love Vivian and Q story! Lot’s of twists and there are times you will laugh out loud.

Ms. Steele presented a well woven story of an ex-military billionaire who meets and falls for a woman on her wedding day only to have to fight his feelings and his beliefs before he can finally obtain his happiness. A well written story that is a little slow at times but maintains the interest.

This is book two of an ongoing storyline. I enjoyed reading this book and the characters. I liked the main characters Quentin and Vivian. These two belong together. However, all that doubtful internal dialogue from Quentin was too much and his doubts did not make sense. Their marriage was real. Quentin re-asked Vivian to marry him for real and not fake she responded with a Yes. So why ruin the time right after your honeymoon with plagues of doubt? Why push your new wife away just because you think she walk away? All that vitriol This seemed like filler, but unnecessary. Read On!

This was a great read! It was definitely different from all the rest. I loved the age gap. Quentin definitely surprised me in the end. I’m so not one to spoil anything for other readers! You will definitely not be disappointed!! A must read for sure! Great work L. Steele again!!

I didn't mind the age gap of these two soulmates. I enjoyed the storyline, the growth, and the heat between them. Again, she was a virgin , and her was an experienced older man, which is crazy since she lived with her ex-fiancee. I thought the plot twists were a little more obvious than the last book, but I enjoyed how the characters worked through the issues. The steam scenes were really amazing.

We love a broken man who believes he doesn’t deserve our MMC. Did I mention he’s a Dom? A Billionaire? Her Ex-fiancés Dad? Yeahhhh you’re gonna want to pick this one up! This was such a hott read, the spice was spicing. This one was also emotional, it really touched on consequences of hard decisions and how important it is cherish moments with loved ones. Shane East and Stella Hunter…. DUET NARRATION?!? Do I even need to give any other details? this audiobook was perfect!

I have read all of this author's books and really enjoyed them. As such, I was very excited to read this one. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. Aside from the premise (age gap, stealing the son's GF, D/s) already having been explored in a previous book by the same author, these characters simply weren't flushed out. I felt like I was reading an early draft as it was very superficial. I normally laugh and cry reading this series, but not this time. Even the shockingly earth shattering event which occurred was written so poorly it didn't bring much emotion beyond a vague sense of "oh no". It felt glossed over and written in a "that's a shame, so what's going on with you?" manner which felt completely disrespectful to both the characters as well as the readers. It made me angry, quite frankly, but I kept reading in hopes for more. Then I thought, well surely this will be addressed in the next book but nope, that is for Knox and June. I'm really going to have to think long and hard if I want to move forward with this series. I certainly will not pre-order as I have in the past.

I had to just keep reading so I could finish the book asIt was so good. Loved the characters and the storyline.Am now planning my next book.

This age gap romance is so intense! Question and Vivian make such a cute couple that you read along thinking it’s all happiness and roses. Until another character who we’ve enjoyed reading about actually dies. It’s so sad and sudden that I’m choked! It’s an unexpected situation in this book. One that I don’t think any reader expects. It makes this story so much more real.But like all the others in this series, we read on. It has highs and lows, an arrogant dominant, who takes what he wants and he wants Vivian. They learn from each other, and fall for each other, but does that mean everything is coming up roses? Maybe….maybe not. But I recommend you continue this series. I know I will.

Basically pervy rich men using money and sex to seduce women half their age. Feels like reading a modern regency books

Wow, what can I say about this book, it made me smile and want to cry, the feelings they had for each other were so strong they were cast in self doubt but Os feeling of love and family and for Vivian are very deep and fills him with regret and guilt are sad to read but they way they resolved their love for each other is the happiest thing to read, another great book from L Steele, I could not put it down, well worth reading
