Bottle is great, product is way too sweet. Have watered down substantially and still not loving it. Perhaps it’s just the blueberry flavor, if you don’t like sweet things I would pass on this

Love the flavors that Vitapods have to offer. Great on trips, hiking or just relaxing around the house.

Let me start by saying I love the concept and the water bottle is really nice BUT the flavor is no good. I really wanted to like this product because i'm trying to replace my soda and juice with healthy alternatives post cancer treatment but this blueberry pomegranate flavor wasn't it. It doesnt taste like either fruit and tastes WAY too sweet. Not sure what it's sweetened with but it's strong. I was expecting just a hint of sweetness and fruit flavor (almost like a sweet la croix) but it tastes like fruit juice with added sugar. I would try another flavor but the price per bag is expensive and I dont want to risk not liking it and wasting a whole pack. I recommend the company make a variety sampler pack so people can try and discover which flavor works for them.

Too SWEET!

If this were a normal drink powder, I'd dump it in the bottle, close the bottle, and then shake it. With this new, amazing, Vitapod Hyrda+ system, I put the pod in the lid, put the bottom part of the lid in the bottle, twist the top part of the lid on that, and then shake. Revolutionary! Or...not. Now I have a little plastic container that serves no purpose and it actually took longer to prepare. It works fine but it's just pointless. The bottle itself is definitely high quality. It comes with both the Vitapod container smasher lid and a regular one with a straw, which you will use when you run out of the first batch of pods and never bother to reorder them again for as long as you live. I'd like to imagine myself finding the pod lid years from now, and trying to remember why it exists. Bottle is fine though. That will see some use since it fits in cupholders and is made well. So, what about the actual drink? It's very mild. It does taste like pomegranate with a little blueberry. It's not tart or bitter. It's pretty decent. Would I buy more? Well, I thought about it, until I looked up how much they cost. They are well over $1 per pod. No thanks. There's nothing here that justifies that price. Does it make me feel more hydrated than water? Well, I decided that I'd try that out by doing about 30 minutes of cardio. That is a lot of cardio for this old guy. I drank this, and then I went and drank some water because I didn't feel like I was quite hydrated enough. So, no, it doesn't make me feel more hydrated than water does.
