This jack-in-the-box has a beautiful retro vibe and is really well-made. It's taken a lot of abuse from our toddler (who absolutely loves it!) and is holding strong. Recommended!

My 1 year old grandson loved! Only drawback…. Had a dent in the side. Not real dense metal sides ….. 😒

I bought the Schylling Kangaroo Jack in the Box for my niece and it ended up being one of the toys she kept going back to. The kangaroo theme is really cute and a nice change from the more common clown-style jack in the box toys. The toy feels surprisingly well made. The metal box has colorful artwork and the wind-up mechanism works smoothly. It plays “Pop Goes the Weasel,” and the plush kangaroo pops out right on cue. So cheaply made, the wafer thin lid won't even stay shut, never mind popping open. It's so ridiculously bad I can't even give it as a gift to my child as intended.
