Not a cheap nightlight but works just as good
I had no outlet to put a nightlight near these switches. This cover does a great job lighting up the area around the switches. It's not as cheap as a nightlight but works great. Simple and easy to install. And it'll cost me pennies per year.

Not A Big Light
This product is what it claims to be and does not seem cheap or shoddy. The light is not as bright as I thought it would be be but I like it. There is one gotcha for installation: the contact screws on the side of the switch have to be screwed in fully. Before you laugh, many switches have two ways to connect wires: the side screws and lock holes in the back into which one can insert the wires. The holes allow faster installation, so they get used and the screws get ignored. The switches ship with the screws backed out (faster if they are used for connecting wires). However, when backed out, they are too wide for the plate. Screw them in and the plate installs easily.

bright and easy to install
probably a little expensive for what it is but it slots directly in place and takes about a minute to install. Be aware that it is quite bright so if you are looking for a soft night light this might be a little much but to perhaps light up a dark hallway it is perfect. recommended.

Work just fine, but had an odd installation tool that they did not explain in the directions
I’m totally happy with the unit. I used several of these over the years. They included a white plastic part that I assume was a installation tool but there’s no mention of it in the instructions. I didn’t use it and didn’t need it. Just an FYI so you don’t try and figure out what the heck it is.

No more stubbing my toes for those late night, early morning bathroom trips
Ah, the agony of the midnight bathroom run. Stumbling through the darkness, trying not to trip over the cat or knock over a vase – it's an experience that has haunted many a sleepy soul. But fear not, my fellow night owls! There's a solution to this age-old problem, and it comes in the form of a light plate switch with LED lights. This ingenious contraption has taken my home's lighting game to a whole new level. Gone are the days when I would wince at the piercing brightness of the overhead light, momentarily blinded as I prepared myself for the perilous journey to the bathroom. Now, I simply follow the gentle, guiding light that illuminates my path. The LED lights are a true game-changer. They cast a warm and inviting glow that's just enough to guide my way without being obnoxiously bright. And let's not forget the energy savings! These little LED lights consume a fraction of traditional bulbs' power, making them an environmentally friendly choice for late-night light seekers everywhere. But what truly sets this switch apart is its effortless installation process. In a matter of minutes, I had this little device up and running, ready to light up my life—quite literally. And the best part? I won't have to scream like a banshee in the haunting hours between midnight and sunrise when my toe collides with the dresser. I can see it now!

Doesn't work well with lamp/outlet controlled switch.
I wanted to have my front foyer with enough light to see switches. Found out you may have to switch the lamp/outlet switch and regular porch light switch were as the contacts are to one side on the cover that requires the clean uninterupted power. Other than that it works great.

You can't really know if this is going to be easy to install, until you go to install it.
Now, I got 3 of these. I know they are costly but they are just perfect for where I most needed them. Which is, when entering a dark room, because I'm always fumbling around for the light switch. Now, I don't even have to look for it because I can just see it out of the corner of my eye as soon as I enter the room! But anyway, installing them was a breeze (for the most part). The 2nd one and 3rd one that I installed both went on with no problem and worked right away. The 1st one however, did not... BUT, it wasn't because of the light switch cover at all. It was because of shoddy workmanship from... well I guess from when the house was built. It's kind of hard to explain exactly how that made my install difficult though. But basically, I couldn't screw all of the screws in all of the way because at a certain point the light switch cover would stop working. I eventually managed to get it to work properly but that would be hard to explain too, lol. The point is, that it wasn't because of the night light light switch cover.Anyway, all three of the ones that I got have been performing flawlessly since I got them installed. And so, I am plenty happy with them and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering getting them. Or, to anyone who is considering getting just ONE of them.
