Hanging Decor
It worked for what I needed . I will give the 5th star after I put them through the test of heavier items Great box for storage . The hook is seperate and screws in easiely. Used to hang a balloon drop

Made things easy to find and kept stuff organized
Brought them on a cruise. All of the walls are metal so we hung our lanyards, hats, scarves, belts, etc. Made things easy to find and kept stuff organized. Particularly good for the kids. They learned right away to hang their key cards so they didn't have to waste time searching for them instead of heading for the pool.

Not strong enough to hold on vertical surface
The hook magnets look nice but they are not strong enough to hold on a vertical surface. They say they are rated for 20lbs and maybe they might hold that as a hanging situation but not vertical. The magnets will just slide down the surface all the while scratching the surface. If you put on the scratch pads, then the magnets slide even easier down the surface. There is a customer support notation on the website that they will work out any problems but when I contacted them asking for an exchange I have not heard back from them. I plan to return these to Amazon and get ones that will hold around 100lbs.
